Have you seen this week’s great Weekly Deals from Stampin’ Up!? Click the link or scroll down a few posts to see what’s available. Anyway Leonie Schorder challenged the Latte Girls to use some of this week’s great deals in a project. So that’s what I have for you today plus a video with some tips as well.
This is the front view of my card with the little tag peeking out of its rabbit hole ready to wish someone special a ‘Hippty Hoppity’ Easter.
This is the view with the tag outside the rabbit hole which is made by an Oval Collections Framelit Die. My video below shows how I made this card as well as giving you what I hope are some helpful tips in making not just this card but other cards which may use a similar style.
- Card base is 1/2 an A4 sheet and folded in the centre
- Layer 1 is 14.3cm x 10cm and run through the Big Shot with the Happy Hearts Textured Embossing Folder and then again using an oval from the Oval Collections Framelits
- The tag measures 5cm x 12cm and punched on one end with the Triple Banner Punch and stamped with a sentiment just above the banner punch
- The bunny is 1 x 2″ circle; 1 x 1 1/2″ circle and 2 x Large Oval Punches with the tail made from 1 x 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch with a button and Baker’s Twine.
I hope you liked this card and gained some extra skills from watching the video.
Make sure you check out the Weekly Deals before they end at 11.50pm Tuesday 1st March 2016 (Sydney time).
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you come back again soon to see what else I have to share.
Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share …
