So, would you like to see some items made with product from the new Occasions Catalogue and FREE product from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure? I hope you said YES!!! This is quite a long post with lots of photos so I hope you stay to the end as there could be a surprise.

I’ll start with three cards I have made.

This is the outside of an Envelope Fold Card which is one of the techniques for next month – check out the details here. The little label keeps it closed. Now here’s a peek at the inside.

Welcome to my birthday garden which I have created using various stamps and dies and the beautiful Falling In Love Designer Series Paper as the backdrop. This would be a great card to give someone special and even though it will fit into one of our gorgeous C6 envelopes, it may not post well because of the layers.

Here’s a close up of some of the flower detail. I stamped the bee in Black Archival Ink and coloured it with Wink of Stella and Daffodil Delight, just to add a bit more glimmer.

The Sweet Sugarplum and Blushing Bride flowers both have Dazzling Diamonds on them, thanks to the Fine Tip Glue Pen

Here’s a closer view of the winged creatures in my Birthday Garden. The Butterfly is die cut from Copper Foil and the Dragonfly is Window Sheet stamped in Black Stazon.

Here’s a different type of card:

I decided to use the Inside The Lines Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure to make this spinner card. I’ve used Watercolor Pencils to colour just a few aspects of the front of the card and added the Dragonfly as the spinner on the mechanism. I embossed the Window Sheet with Copper Embossing Powder and carefully heat set it. I needed a small circle of copper foil on the mechanism to hide the Stampin’ Dimensional. unfortunately the Dragonfly doesn’t show up well in the photo.

This is known as a Z Fold Card and will also feature as one of the techniques in my next Technique Class. I just love this bundle and really couldn’t stop at 1 hot air balloon.

This paper is fantastic for and is from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure and is called Carried Away and you can get it FREE with a $90 purchase. Can’t get much better than that!!!

Here’s a closer look at the card open. Now this will fit nicely into one of the Stampin’ Up! C6 envelopes. Just write your message on the Whisper White section.

Now for something a little different – a Scrapbook page of my youngest Grand Daughter at her 1st Birthday party in 2016 (and this coming Saturday is her 2nd birthday party – I have way too many photos to scrap!!).

She’s a gorgeous little bundle of mischief with a lovely soul and kind heart and an awesome giggle. . She had a ‘Princess Fairy’ theme for the day, hence the crown in silver glitter of course!!

Here’s a closer look at the Swirly Scribbles element which was embellished with Rhinestones.

Some stamping courtesy of Touches of Texture and some Stampin Write Markers. I also ink distressed the edges of the Designer Series Paper with Watermelon Wonder and a sponge.

Here’s the opposite corner where I did some stamping and then added Rhinestones. All the banners have also been ink distressed, just to add a bit of depth.

Now my last two projects are 3D type projects and I hope you like them. The first is a covered notebook. Stampin’ Up! had these notebooks a few years back and I still have a small stash of them. I find them invaluable for writing projects in them – I work ou measurements and write down products used.

Again I’ve used the Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper to cover the notebook and sparsely coloured it with Watercolor Pencils and My Wink of Stella Brush which I’d filled with water once empty and it still gave a lovely glimmer.

The sentiment is stamped with Versamark and heat set with Copper Emboss Powder.

I’ve used the Lots of Labels Framelit Dies to die cut the elements for the sentiment which is adhered with Stampin Dimensionals and I added Black Metallic Thread behind, to finish the element off.

My last project is made with the Gift Bag Punch Board.

It’s a Medium sized gift bag with a top tab which is kept closed with a Velcro Dot. I’ve used Versamark to stamp the Dragonflies onto the front of the Gift Bag and then heat set them with Copper Emboss Powder.

Here’s a closer look at the Dragonflies and the Dragonfly made from Window Sheet and Black Stazon. It gives the Dragonfly a realistic effect.

Here’s another look at the ‘black’ Dragonfly and the embellishment. Can you guess what it is? It’s one of the Falling In Love Embellishments which was generously inked up with Versamark and then lots of Copper Emboss Powder and then heat set. It looks great and who would have thought to colour those gorgeous embellishments like that?

Now, I’ve talked a bit about Sale-A-Bration and the Occasions Catalogue in this post. Would you like to know how to get some FREE product?

Beautiful projects Libby. My favourite colour is pink, so I would have to vote the scrapbook page as my favourite 🙂
