Freshly Brewed Projects Retired Stamps
Freshly Brewed Projects Retired Stamps “All good things must come to an end”, penned by Geoffrey Chaucer in his poem Troilus and Criseyde. This time every year Stampin’ Up! are about ready to release a new catalogue, so many products become retired. Today the Latte Girls are focusing on Retired Stamps and whilst you need to buy products while stocks last, many are still available at bargain prices.

I decided to use one of my favourites from the Occasions Catalogue called Carousel Birthdays. Here’s my card:
I have loved this set and used it for many cards. It’s easy to create a bit of a carnival scene; water colour; use Watercolor Pencils with; birthday cards; 3D projects and much more. I’ve used the Carousel Horse on a piece of Very Vanilla card which I used for the inside of the card. I also stamped it a couple of times on the envelope.
Carousel Birthdays Stamp Set
Freshly Brewed Projects Retired Stamps aims to give you some inspiration to use some of these retiring products. Here’s a closer look at the sentiment piece:
I stamped the Carousel Horse in Sahara Sand ink, randomly on the Very Vanilla card stock. The sentiment from the set is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies. The Designer Series Paper comes from the Cupcakes & Casrousels DSP Stack plus a strip of Bermuda Bay. A Lace Doily (white side showing) is adhered to the sentiment piece and those two pieces adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you come back again soon to see what else I have to share.
