Split Colouring

Today’s Video brings you Split Colouring. This is a great technique I only just discovered and felt sure you’d enjoy it too. It yields 2 card fronts for you to add to card bases and is relatively easy for you to do. You will need a stamp which has a large image, I’ve used Birthday Blooms, some Clear Emboss Powder and your Stamp-A-Ma-Jig as well as your Watercolor Pencils. Here’s one of the samples I made using the Split Colouring technique:

With the addition of embossing and colouring with your Watercolor Pencils, you can easily accomplish this technique. Watch the video to find out more:

Now here are the measurements:
  • Card base 21cm x 14.8cm score and fold at 10.5cm or 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ score and fold at 4 1/4″
  • Layer for the Split Colouring measures 14.3cm x 10cm or 5 1/4″ x 4″ and you need 2 of these – 1 in Whisper White or Very Vanilla and 1 in a coordinating colour
  • Cut each layer at 7cm or 3″
