I have a couple of friends undergoing treatment for various cancers at the moment and I decided I’d make this card using Wood Words Stamp Set and Wood Textured designer Series Paper Stack.
I used the Basic Black Archival ink as I used Ink Pads and a Blender Pen to colour the flowers, leaves and flower centres. The Archival Inks are perfect for this technique. Here’s my card:
I understand it may be a bit difficult to see the colouring however I’m still getting used to my new set up in my new home. I’m sure I shall perfect the photography soon.
I added a Linen Thread bow under the punched circles. There’s about 5 loops which I tied off and then added more tails to make the bow look fuller. A Glue Dot easily adheres it to the card.
Here’s a closer view of the sentiment piece with the Linen Thread bow attached. The circles were easily punched out using the 1 1/4″ and 1 3/8″ Circle Punches.
I hope you enjoyed me bringing you this card and I’m sure my friend will like it too.
Videos will resume next week once I perfect a new set up. This week you will get a different card each day. I’d love to read your comments.
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you come back again soon to see what else I have to share.
Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share…
