What a wonderful day we’ve had. Lovely sunny weather at just the right temperature and I was able to have some time to create. Mothers’ Day is on 12th May here in Australia this year, so we have a bit of time to get our cards made. I decided to join a Mothers’ Day card front swap through Stampin’ Connection. So, that’s what I’ve done today. All the cards are suppose to be the same but somehow they all end… Read more »

I know I said I’d be back yesterday to share some photos of the fundraiser. However, I took my camera and clean forgot to take photos. It was a good afternoon and I’m sure all the ladies enjoyed themselves. A big thank you to Roz White for organising and hosting ‘Afternoon Teal’ which raised funds for Ovarian Cancer Support. This month’s club projects reflect Easter. However, I thought I’d add a ‘spring’ type project as that signifies new life as… Read more »

Well, it’s taken me a while to finish these as I had trouble locating the clips I wanted for the pens. The looks and questions you get when you wander into a big hardware chain and ask for particular items, is just amazing. I once asked for a heat gun and the assistant said: “What does madam’s husband need to do? Is it a big job or a small job?” Well madam was nun too impressed and bit her tongue… Read more »

Well, today I tried to get a couple of projects finished. That was until I lost my Framelits Labels. I looked everywhere and couldn’t find them, so emailed a friend to see if I could borrow hers. The place I hadn’t checked was the bag I have already packed for the Afternoon Teal fundraiser on Sunday. Yes, there they were. I’m seriously beginning to worry about my memory.
