This is day 4 in my Window Box Thinlit Die Box series. I do hope you’re enjoying it? I’d love to read your comment – please leave one below. The way these open reminds me of the old Pac-Man games of years ago. You could make it on one colour and punch or die cut a circle out for an eye. Just a thought. I seemed to need extra fingers and less glue for this project, but I think you’ll… Read more »

Isn’t this a great challenge for this week’s Global Design Project 071 Theme Challenge ? I do love working outside my comfort zone at times. The project I have to share with you today, was actually part of my So In Love Bundle class just recently. I hope you pop on over to the Global Design Project to see the inspiration the Design Team have come up with as well at the inspiration shared by the other challenge participants. So, this is… Read more »

I shared this card the other day but thought I’d share it with you again along with the Stampin’ Up! Video about this gorgeous paper. Now I’m not a great fan of colouring in – I failed at it in school. I make cards and memory albums as my ‘stress relief’. However can I say, this paper combined with Stampin’ Up!’s new Watercolor Pencils, is just wonderful. I chose to just colour small pieces of this paper as a card… Read more »

This blog hop is an anything but holidays one, using holiday catalogue products. So that’s what I’ve done and focused on the Paisleys & Posies in the Holiday Catalogue. My card and box both use this delightful Designer Series Paper and the Paisleys & Posies Photopolymer Bundle. Here’s my card: The sentiment is from Frosted Medallions in the Holiday Catalogue and is layered on some Copper Foil Sheet and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped one of the images in Versamark… Read more »

This week’s Tip Thursday is all about quick projects to make for gifts. Often the go to gift is chocolate or sweets of some sort, so why not use your craft supplies to make a quick little package that personalises the gift?   Now I shared one of these projects yesterday, so I’ll give you the measurements today and a video for you to watch for the instructions if you want them. Note Imperial measurements in blue are only approximate… Read more »

The Latte Girls are back with another inspirational Blog Hop and this week we’re looking at Christmas packaging. Make sure you visit Leonie and Narelle’s blogs to see their stunning projects this week. I thought I’d start by sharing something I received at On Stage from an unknown source and it was filled with Ferrero Rocher. Well they didn’t last long. Today I’m going to show you how I used Stampin’ Up!’s Thick Whisper White Card to make a Note and Pencil Box all in one. Now this would make a lovely gift, especially for busy people who like to keep their post – it or note cubes together with a pen for quick notes and access. You could even add a yearly calendar to the front instead of the sentiment or image. Watch the video or scroll down for the… Read more »

Got to love Christmas for all the great crafting you can do. Make sure you check out Leonie and Narelle’s blogs for their wonderful Christmas inspiration. I have two projects to share with you today and both are fairly easy and I’ll give you some basic instructions too. This one is a shaker ornament for your tree, as a gift or for anywhere else you may need to hang some Christmas cheer. It’s made with the Stars Framelit Dies and… Read more »

Look at this wonderful gift from my friend and team member, Kay Jacob. Kay gave it to me at On Stage Live in Brisbane earlier in the month. Kay has used Peekaboo Peach Ruched Ribbon on the outside to make the package pretty. There is a whole card on the front of this pouch which is beautifully made using the Rose Wonder Bundle and some ink and daubers. Kay has used the Kraft Rope Trim from the Holiday Catalogue. This… Read more »

I had a great deal of fun creating these little Tassels to include in my Team Gifts and Roomie Gifts for On Stage Live a couple of weeks ago. I thought I’d share them with you today. Now whilst filming this Video, I realised the lighting isn’t great. So I do apologies and will try to rectify it soon. However, I’m sure you’ll be able to pick up the idea by watching the video today. Designer Series Paper 6″ x… Read more »
