Recently I’ve needed to think outside the box for some cards suitable for Same-Sex Couples. I still have some more ideas floating around in my head, but here’s one of my last shares for a while of a card suitable for Same-Sex couples. Two tuxedos, one with the black tie and one with a red tie. I’ve used Stampin’ Write markers to draw in the buttons and colour the heart on the sentiment. I only made one of these cards… Read more »

I provide cards to a local Giftware and Fashion Shop and was asked to do some cards suitable for weddings. So this is one I came up with which I thought looked quite formal but may also suit same-sex couples. I made two the same, they just had different sentiments inside the card. I used Tuxedo Memento Black to stamp the sentiment on the front and the greeting inside the card. This is the second card with the heart placement… Read more »

Thought I’d share some more cards which could be suitable for anyone really. To make the ‘Tuxedo’ I’ve cut 2 hearts, one each in Basic Black and Whisper White and cut the Whisper White one down to fit. I’ve drawn on the buttons and tied a loose knot in the ribbon and adhered it to the top of the Whit Heart. I’ve stamped the sentiment in Memento Black and just removed the ink from the heart and coloured it with… Read more »

This was the card my guests at my recent 2015 – 2016 Catalogue Launch made. The stamp set is called You’ve Got This and I have made it here with Mint Macaron. My guests made it with Tip Top Taupe. We used a butterfly from another stamp set (sorry, can’t remember which set) to stamp the inside of the card and the outside of the envelope. All pieces were adhered with Multipurpose Liquid (Tombow) Glue except the tag which was… Read more »

I sell cards to a local fashion and giftware shop and the lovely Commie (Owner/Manager) ordered some cards for same-sex couples. So my mind needed a bit of thinking time to come up with something appropriate using the wonderful Stampin’ Up! products I have. So, this is the first card. I made two the same, they just had different sentiments inside from the stamp set “For The New Two”. By stamping and removing ink and using a Basic Black Marker… Read more »

This is the last of my cards which uses left over bits of Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper which was use for the Turn Over Cuff Gift Bag made with the Gift Bag Punch Board. I’ve used the medium-sized butterfly from the Butterflies Thinlits Dies, for this card and added Rhinestones to the centre plus some on the sentiment for the card. The card and Designer Series Paper are adhered with Liquid Multipurpose Glue (Tombow) , with the Butterfly and… Read more »

I made a Gift Bag with a Turn Over Cuff out of this gorgeous Designer Series Paper – Timeless Elegance. I had a few strips left so what better way to use them up but by making a card with Butterflies. The butterfly is adhered with Dimensionals and has a row of Pearl up its body. I’ve used Papillon Potpourri butterflies to stamp on the card, inside the card and on the outside of the envelope. Here’s another using basically the… Read more »

Here’s another of the set of 10 cards I made for the Amazingly Amazing Sharyn from Savvy Circles Network which she ordered recently. Watercolor Paper has so many uses and I have spritzed the stamped images with water to gain this effect. Some of the cards have the Tea Lace Doilies and some have Vellum Butterflies adhered to the card with Glue Dots. I added Gold or Silver Metallic thread behind each main element. The Metallic Thread is quite springy… Read more »

I used the Stampin’ Rewards stamp set Floral Wings to make some Thank You cards for my workshop hostess recently. I also used the Bol Butterfly Framelits to cut the butterfly. The set is a beautiful photopolymer stamp set which means you can mix the colours if you want. I decided to just stay with the same colour on each card to make a set of cards. I also used the new Tip Top Taupe Lace Ribbon Trim behind the… Read more »
