I made a Gift Bag with a Turn Over Cuff out of this gorgeous Designer Series Paper – Timeless Elegance. I had a few strips left so what better way to use them up but by making a card with Butterflies. The butterfly is adhered with Dimensionals and has a row of Pearl up its body. I’ve used Papillon Potpourri butterflies to stamp on the card, inside the card and on the outside of the envelope. Here’s another using basically the… Read more »

Here’s another of the set of 10 cards I made for the Amazingly Amazing Sharyn from Savvy Circles Network which she ordered recently. Watercolor Paper has so many uses and I have spritzed the stamped images with water to gain this effect. Some of the cards have the Tea Lace Doilies and some have Vellum Butterflies adhered to the card with Glue Dots. I added Gold or Silver Metallic thread behind each main element. The Metallic Thread is quite springy… Read more »

I used the Stampin’ Rewards stamp set Floral Wings to make some Thank You cards for my workshop hostess recently. I also used the Bol Butterfly Framelits to cut the butterfly. The set is a beautiful photopolymer stamp set which means you can mix the colours if you want. I decided to just stay with the same colour on each card to make a set of cards. I also used the new Tip Top Taupe Lace Ribbon Trim behind the… Read more »

I recently had a card order from the lovely Sharyn from Savvy Circles Network for some cards which used the “You are amazingly AMAZING” as the sentiment, using the Savvy Circles Network colours and similar to a card I made a while back. She ordered 10 similar cards. So, each card either featured the Tea Lace Doilies or a Butterfly and all cards featured the new Gold or Silver Metallic Thread. Baby cards should be cute, right? Well I think this one is very cute. It’s made with the Something For Baby Bundle which includes the stamp set and the framelits. I also used the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack to punch flowers out of one of the colours as embellishments on the card and added some little Pearls to the centres before adhering them with Dimensionals. I used some scrap of the accent card stock to make a little banner… Read more »

Who doesn’t like little ducks for a baby card? I have 2 to share with you today, one in Very Vanilla and Watermelon Wonder and one in Very Vanilla and Bermuda Bay. I used the Lucky Stars Textured Impressions Embossing folder on both cards and stamped the duck in the co-ordination colour. It’s from Something For Baby stamp set. I used Baby’s First Framelits to cut all the duck out. I just love framelits which are designed to cut out around stamps…. Read more »

Do you sometimes wonder how you can make something look a little different by not doing much? Well I took out my 42-year-old Elna sewing machine (it’s a little portable one) and did some stitching onto card. The secret is to stitch before you add adhesive so you don’t ‘gum up the works’ in your sewing machine. This is what I came up with: I used Whisper White on Tip Top Taupe and added some of our Burlap ribbon cut… Read more »

Do you love butterflies? I do and I think they give almost any project a real lift. So, I have used the Bold Butterfly Framelits in today’s projects. I’ve combined this card with some left over pieces of Bohemian Designer Series Paper, an old favourite stamp set Papillon Potpourri and a new stamp set Garden In Bloom which is a Photopolymer set. I used Papillon Potpourri butterflies to stamp the inside of the card and the outside of the envelope… Read more »
