Don’t you love new things. Stampin’ Up! have introduced 5 new In Colours for 2015 – 2017 and I have used 1 of them in today’s project plus a piece from one of the new Designer Series Paper Stacks which now measure 15cm x 15cm (6″ x 6″). This is a Gift Card with a stand and it all fits flat inside one of Stampin’ Up!’s C6 Whisper White Envelopes making it easy to post. The base of the card… Read more »

It will be Mother’s Day soon and I had an order for a card which needed to feature the colour blue and some flowers. I hope I have achieved the request with this card. Here are the project details just in case you’d like to make a screen card for a special person in your life. Cut Soft Sky 5 1/2″ x 11″ and score at 2 3/4″, 5 1/2″ and 8 1/4″ Cut Basic Black 2 1/2″ x 4… Read more »

Here’s another card today using Project Life Remember This Photopolymer Stamp Set. It’s quite a versatile set, not just for memory keeping or scrapbooking or Project Life. Very similar to the card I shared the other day. However, to make it a little more masculine I have tied a knot with the Pool Party Cotton Twine instead of a bow and added a different colour set of stars on the front of the card. When you’re using the Star punch… Read more »

I just love Sheltering Tree and have again just used the tree canopy to create this card. Very similar to Tuesday’s card, however not so heavy-handed with the tree canopy. So this card uses just the Blushing Bride around the edges with the tree canopy stamp from Sheltering Tree. I’ve used Blushing Bride and Rose Red card as well as Whispering White. I like to use Whispering White card inside my cards and use one of the images from one… Read more »

It’s important that we utilise our stamp sets as much as we can. We make an investment in them so we should use them for every project we can think of. I used a Project Life Stamp Set for this card as it was about celebrating and birthdays. I wanted something which could be used for a male and perhaps a teenager and I think this stamp set helps achieve that aim. Make a note to stamp the sentiment before… Read more »

When the Occasions Catalogue was launched I shared many a project using Sheltering Tree Photopolymer Stamp Set. I haven’t used it for a while however, used it in a bit of a different way for this card. The colours are Rose Red and Blushing Bride. I’ve used just the tree canopy and stamped around the edge of the Whisper White. You get a great effect by inking up in Rose Red, stamping and then stamping off a couple of times…. Read more »

Stampin’ Up! are truly the masters of co-ordination. The gorgeous Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper co-ordinates beautifully with Painted Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set. I used the Hearts Border Punch to add a bit of difference to this card and used some of the gorgeous Painted Blooms Cotton Twine for the bow. Just love this thicker style cotton twine. One of the stamps in the set has just blossoms and I used these to stamp the inside of the card and… Read more »

Each month I participate in a local market – Windsor Riverside Markets. This month I ran a free class at my stall. The card had to be quick and easy to make with few supplies as I need to transport everything to the market. It’s coming up to Mother’s Day, so I decided all participants could make a Mother’s Day card to take away. We used the Petite Petals Stamp set and co-ordinating punch with a Note card and envelope…. This is the last of my Painted Blooms for a little while. I’ve really enjoyed working with this DSP and the stamp set which co-ordinates with it. I hope you’ve enjoyed the series too. Today’s cards are both birthday cards and the same except for colour. I had some extra butterflies stamped so they got a position on these cards and with the pearls on their bodies, I think they suit their position. The sentiment is from Basic Butterflies Photopolymer… Read more »

A few days ago I shared a couple of cards I made using our beautiful Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper. I decided to share a couple more with you today. Sometimes just one thanks isn’t quite enough so this card helps bridge that gap. I’ve used Rose Red to stamp the sentiment and to stamp the butterfly which I felt the card needed just to fill the white space. I added a Whisper White Organza Ribbon bow to the front… Read more »
