This card is made with Best Thoughts which is a Hostess Set. You can order it with your Stampin’ Rewards from a qualifying party. It’s a gorgeous set with endless possibilities. Today I decided to make just a blank card and teamed it with Watermelon Wonder I’ve stamped the flower image onto the card layer and then again on some scrap. After water colouring both and allowing to dry, I cut just the flower out with my Paper Snips. I… Read more »

Here are two cards made with the same products, just put together a bit differently. Which do you prefer? I love this Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper, it’s just so elegant and co-ordinates with any colour. I’ve teamed the Designer Series Paper with Mint Macaron, Black and Very Vanilla. I’ve added Mint Macaron behind the tag of Very Vanilla and both these are cut with the Deco Labels Framelit Dies using the Big Shot and Magnetic Platform. Timeless Elegance has… Read more »

I decided to use the Winter Wonderland stamp set to make a couple of “Thank You” cards. I’ve teamed the stamp set with the Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper to make card which would be suitable for a man but could really be used for anyone. So, I’ve used Very Vanilla as the base and the top layer. I’ve then used a sponge with Lost Lagoon and sponged the background before stamping the trees in Garden Green. The banner on… Read more »

I know, I always say we don’t have winter at Christmas time here in Australia. However, I thought perhaps some of my market shoppers may have friends who reside in the Northern Hemisphere and who will need wintry looking cards for Christmas. There you are, that’s my reasoning for just wanting to make some wintry Christmas cards. So, I made two cards which were supposed to be the same however, they ended up a bit different. Always happens! (Happens in my… Read more »

I must say I was inspired by Patty Bennett for this card and she has a great video tutorial on how to make a landscape version. As we don’t have snow in Australia at Christmas I decided to make this a night-time version and hence the sentiment of ‘Silent Night’. I’ve used Night of Navy, Garden Green and Versamark with Iridescent Ice Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I also had the help from a post it note for the moon and the… Read more »

So this card was a bit of a challenge as you know I’ve said before we don’t have snow in Australia at Christmas. However we may have some beautiful pine trees with sparkling dew on them? Yes? Well that’s what we tried to achieve with this card. We’ve actually stamped the trees 3 times and embossed once and then used Gorgeous Grunge to give us some beautiful gold sparkles. We also stamped the tree in two different colours on the… Read more »

This is the last of the cards from my October Card Class where the ladies concentrated on a technique. We used the Aqua Painters for all of the cards – 2 each of 3 designs. This one is just an alternate on one of the other cards they made. The image on this card was stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black and then the Aqua Painters did the work with reinkers. This time we turned the image so it was facing… Read more »
