Isn’t this a great challenge for this week’s Global Design Project 071 Theme Challenge ? I do love working outside my comfort zone at times. The project I have to share with you today, was actually part of my So In Love Bundle class just recently. I hope you pop on over to the Global Design Project to see the inspiration the Design Team have come up with as well at the inspiration shared by the other challenge participants. So, this is… Read more »

A friend gave me a jar and asked if I ould come up with a decoration for it as she wanted to make some to give to staff at the end of the year. So this is what I designed using Stampin’ Up! products. The flowers on top in Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla were cut using the Botanical Builder Framelit Dies and adhered with Glue Dots. When the jar opens, the flowers stay on the jar lid. The tag… Read more »

Being part of the Stampin’ Up! family has many benefits and one is the wonderful friendships you make both online and in person. Just look at this lovely gift I received from another Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, the gorgeous and thoughtful Debbie Blake. Debbie has used quite a number of different products to complete these projects focussing on the Irresistibly Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper. The card has a base of Sweet Sugarplum then a layer of Silver Foil before adding… Read more »

Last Sunday I held a class using the Stampin’ Up! Perpetual Calendar kit. Now this kit is great as it has all the embellishments and calendar pages for a whole year. It clips together, on the stiff backing board provided in the kit, using a bull-dog clip which you can also decorate. This is Jolan’s Perpetual Calendar completed. The ladies had such different outcomes with their calendars. I provided the stamp set, acrylic blocks and inks. We looked at the… Read more »

Today I’m once again sharing some framed work which would be suitable for home or office and Stampin’ Up! products help you do that. As this particular piece of DSP (Designer Series Paper) has plenty of floral on it I felt just a simple sentiment was warranted and I stamped it in Rose Red. A side view of the framed project. I found it easier to stamp the sentiment on the DSP first and then add Fast Fuse to the… Read more »

I shared a Home Decor idea with you the other day using the stamp Love Is Kindness and I have another to share with you today. Just tilt your head a bit so this picture looks straight – sorry about the photography. This time as I’ve used a different shaped frame, I decided not to place a mat of card around the image. However, I have used the same Shimmery White Card as before. I’ve used Smoky Slate to shade… Read more »

Stampin’ Up!’s beautiful Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper makes great Home Decor and you can tailor it to your needs. I cut the paper to a 6″ x 4″ size to fit the frame and teamed it with Rose Red ink. I used the sentiment from the Painted Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set. The butterflies are stamped tone on tone using Papillon Potpourri Stamp set and the corresponding punches. I added Pearls to the centre of the body of the smaller… Read more »

The Swallowtail stamp is a wonderful large stamp with many possibilities. I had a shadow box frame and decided to use it for the Swallowtail. I’ve used Shimmery White card for the background and Spring Flowers Textured Impressions Folder to give it some interest and the feel of a garden. I’ve also used Shimmery White card as my first base Swallowtail, embossing with Gold Emboss Powder and using all the In Colours to colour over the embossing. Then I just… Read more »
