So, last Saturday I held my monthly Technique Class and we learnt various techniques associated with Textured Impressions Embossing Folders. I used one of these same folders on a card the other day. I had a bit of inky fun making this card using yet another new set from the 2016 – 2017 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue. You can buy the Best Birds Bundle and save 10%. Using a Post It Note I and the 1 1/2″Circle Punch, I punched a circle and used just the circle to place on the card and the sponged with Dapper Denim, then added a bit more ink to the circle to ‘dull’ down the white from… Read more »

Something a little bit different from me today. Still trying to use new stamp sets from the 2016 – 2017 Annual Catalogue. I saw a similar card design on Pinterest and decided I quite liked the idea. I just love the Swirly Bird Photopolymer bundle. Here I’ve used it to come up with a sailing card for a birthday. You could make this card for any occasion using the Greatest Greetings stamp set in combination with this bundle. You could make it in ‘girly’ colours too if you wanted to.
