Here’s my last card share for Mothers Day for 2016. Very similar to the one I shared before, just a different side of the Designer Series Paper. This card was actually chosen by my husband to mail to his mother who is 88. Just a hint when you’re doing cards like this, cut your shapes, whatever shape that may be, first and then very lightly mark the outline with a pencil on the card to be stamped on. Then you… Read more »

My blog posts will be a bit intermittent for the next few weeks due to an accidental fall I had on Tuesday last. I have fractured my left fibula in two places and will see an orthopaedic surgeon during the week to find out how long I’ll be out of action. I can’t, at present. make my way down all the stairs to my craft room. This card is made using some retirement products (see below for the link to… Read more »

The card had to be quick and easy to make with few supplies as I need to transport everything to the market. It’s coming up to Mother’s Day, so I decided all participants could make a Mother’s Day card to take away. We used the Petite Petals Stamp set and co-ordinating punch with a Note card and envelope…. Just love to do a bit of sewing as the weather cools. I’ve been making cot quilts for my Grand daughters and decided to do some sewing on my cards. I have a little old sewing machine which is 40 years old!! It’s been everywhere and is now relegated to my stamp/scrapbooking studio. I did the sewing first as I knew I wanted to use an Aqua painter and didn’t want to sew through damp card stock which could have… Read more »

Don’t you just love a stamp set which is versatile? You can use this stamp set for so many occasions. This card is stamped in Blackberry Bliss and I’ve used Wild Wasabi to punch out another Fun Flower to use as leaves… Read more »

Monday Makes this week features the Hardwood Stamp. Now I have the wood mounted stamp, as my personal preference for large background stamps such as these, is to use wood mount. Now the trick to using these large stamps, I find it to ensure you press the ink well onto all areas of the stamp. Line your card and the stamp up with your grid paper and stamp. I make sure I press all areas of the stamp onto the card,… Read more »
