I just love Sheltering Tree and have again just used the tree canopy to create this card. Very similar to Tuesday’s card, however not so heavy-handed with the tree canopy. So this card uses just the Blushing Bride around the edges with the tree canopy stamp from Sheltering Tree. I’ve used Blushing Bride and Rose Red card as well as Whispering White. I like to use Whispering White card inside my cards and use one of the images from one… Read more »

It’s important that we utilise our stamp sets as much as we can. We make an investment in them so we should use them for every project we can think of. I used a Project Life Stamp Set for this card as it was about celebrating and birthdays. I wanted something which could be used for a male and perhaps a teenager and I think this stamp set helps achieve that aim. Make a note to stamp the sentiment before… Read more »

When the Occasions Catalogue was launched I shared many a project using Sheltering Tree Photopolymer Stamp Set. I haven’t used it for a while however, used it in a bit of a different way for this card. The colours are Rose Red and Blushing Bride. I’ve used just the tree canopy and stamped around the edge of the Whisper White. You get a great effect by inking up in Rose Red, stamping and then stamping off a couple of times…. Read more »

Each month I participate in a local market – Windsor Riverside Markets. This month I ran a free class at my stall. The card had to be quick and easy to make with few supplies as I need to transport everything to the market. It’s coming up to Mother’s Day, so I decided all participants could make a Mother’s Day card to take away. We used the Petite Petals Stamp set and co-ordinating punch with a Note card and envelope…. I have another card using the lovely Petal Potpourri Stamp Set today. This one has no sentiment, however I have stamped a flower from the set both inside the card and on the back and front of the envelope. I’ve used All Abloom Designer Series Paper Stack again and added some of the Cotton Ribbon in Whisper White. I also added a Rhinestone to the centre of the flower. I’ve stamped tone on tone on the Lost Lagoon card stock… Read more »

I’ve again used the 2014 – 2016 In Colours of Lost Lagoon and Blackberry Bliss with a touch of Hello Honey for the flower centres. With this card I have used Gorgeous Grunge for the background and Sassy Salutations for the sentiment and added the Lost Lagoon Stitched Satin ribbon as a feature behind… Read more »

I don’t have a video for you today but I do have a tutorial. Now this is a ‘Round Box’ with the Scallop Tag Punch used to close it. It’s actually a bit of an optical illusion and relies heavily on correct scoring and closure.   INSTRUCTIONS Card measures 21cm x desired height. So this one is 10cm tall with3.5cm on the bottom and 5cm on the top. So in total my box is 21cm x 18.5cm Note – you… Read more »
