This is something a bit different from me today. I’ve been doing quite a bit of scrapbooking of late and lots of Project Life as well. I’ll be sharing a few more layouts with you this week. This one is all Stampin’ Up!. I’ve used Whisper White card to print the graphics needed for the page and then cut around them. They’re mounted with Dimensionals to give the page some depth. I’ve used the Hearts and Stars Decorative Mask for… Read more »

This is one of the projects made at the last Triple Treat Class which is held on the first Friday of each month at 7pm. Participants make 2 cards and a 3D item plus have some refreshments, a chat and a giggle. It’s always lots of fun. This is 2 Fry Boxes glued back to back with the Fun Flower Punch used to make an embellishment for either side of the box. I’ve added a Metal Rimmed Pearl for the… Read more »

Here’s another project from this month’s Triple Treat Class which is held on the first Friday of each month at 7pm. You make 2 cards and a 3D project. This card features Beautiful Bunch stamped in Lost Lagoon and the sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments and also stamped in Lost Lagoon and punched out with the Word Window Punch. Beautiful Bunch comes with several smaller images which I have used here to embellish the inside of the card and… Read more »

We made this card as part of my Triple Treat Class which runs the first Friday of every month at 7pm. The participants make 3 projects – 2 cards and a 3D project. This card features dry and wet embossing. I love the Lovely Lace Textured Impressions Embossing Folder as it is a great one for Spring type cards and we’re certainly having a wonderful Spring here in the Hawkesbury. The Beautiful Bunch stamp set needs you to line up… Read more »

The lovely Leonie Schroder taught us to make this swag whilst we were in Canberra recently. She saw it on the Inspire, Creat, Share USA Videos and replicated it. Isn’t she just too clever for words. She also got us to make a cheat sheet so we could re teach the lesson to others. You could easily make a few more elements to make the banner longer and spread the elements out and use longer ribbon. The really clever bit… Read more »

This gorgeous little angel is another of the lovely Ann Craig’s designs which she taught Leonie and I to make when we visited her in her Canberra Studio recently. She’s a smaller version of the one I shared the other day and uses the Bow Builder Punch and several other punches. Add some glimmer paper and tea lace doily with some eye lashes which are softened by using a Blender Pen and you have a gorgeous little angel. She would… Read more »

Ann Craig showed me how to make these gorgeous angels. This one is the larger of the two and is made with the Gift Bow Die and some circle punches. Add some Glimmer Paper and a Rhinestone and you have a gorgeous angel with a lace petticoat. The best thing about this angel is that there are no messy bits on the back as you sandwich the halo between two circles which form the head.  We also punched a small… Read more »

The lovely Debbie Yeoman’s taught us how to make this wonderful slider card using some well placed Dimensionals and two 5 cent pieces. It would make a great male card but equally good for the female gold enthusiast. A bit of trivia – GOLF actually stands for Gentlemen Only Women Forbidden. Oh well I guess that didn’t last forever. The large Wild Wasabi Circle is ‘faux suede’ technique which in real life makes it look like a golf green. The… Read more »

I spent the last weekend with some wonderful Stampin’ Up! friends. The lovely Ann Craig, from Canberra, taught us how to make these gorgeous ball decorations. They resemble the ‘honeycomb’ effect I recall decorations having when I was a child. Here’s a closer look at the smaller of the two decorations. They’re quite easy to make and you become quite fast at assembling them too. Lots of circles folded in half and adhered together. The addition of some glue dots,… Read more »

It’s always difficult to make Sympathy cards but making them for men adds an extra challenge. In last year’s Occasions Catalogue there was a great paper stack called Adventure Bound Designer Series Paper Stack and it’s just perfect for male cards. As usual, I made two cards and all that’s different is the sentiment on the front. I just trimmed down the paper to fit the card front. I stamped the image on Whisper White and punched it out with… Read more »
