Thought I’d share some more cards which could be suitable for anyone really. To make the ‘Tuxedo’ I’ve cut 2 hearts, one each in Basic Black and Whisper White and cut the Whisper White one down to fit. I’ve drawn on the buttons and tied a loose knot in the ribbon and adhered it to the top of the Whit Heart. I’ve stamped the sentiment in Memento Black and just removed the ink from the heart and coloured it with… Read more »

This was the card my guests at my recent 2015 – 2016 Catalogue Launch made. The stamp set is called You’ve Got This and I have made it here with Mint Macaron. My guests made it with Tip Top Taupe. We used a butterfly from another stamp set (sorry, can’t remember which set) to stamp the inside of the card and the outside of the envelope. All pieces were adhered with Multipurpose Liquid (Tombow) Glue except the tag which was… Read more »

I sell cards to a local fashion and giftware shop and the lovely Commie (Owner/Manager) ordered some cards for same-sex couples. So my mind needed a bit of thinking time to come up with something appropriate using the wonderful Stampin’ Up! products I have. So, this is the first card. I made two the same, they just had different sentiments inside from the stamp set “For The New Two”. By stamping and removing ink and using a Basic Black Marker… Read more »

At home at present we’re experiencing a cold snap in the middle of winter. What better dessert to have than Apple Pie? Here’s one of mine made with Sprinkles Of Life. You can almost see the steam coming off the top and imagine it with your favourite topping – cream or ice cream or both? However, I promise this one won’t cause you to gain any weight. Now this one must be shop bought as it’s in one of those… Read more »

I’ve recently featured some cards using the Banner Banter Bundle. We’ve made several of these in Card Classes in July. The bundle is great value, whether you purchase the Clear or Wood mount stamps along with the punch you get 15% off if purchased as a bundle and not separately. There are many uses for the Banner Banter stamp set and the punch. They’re a great bundle to use in Scrapbooking or Project Life. The Banners make great embellishments and… Read more »

Baby cards should be cute, right? Well I think this one is very cute. It’s made with the Something For Baby Bundle which includes the stamp set and the framelits. I also used the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack to punch flowers out of one of the colours as embellishments on the card and added some little Pearls to the centres before adhering them with Dimensionals. I used some scrap of the accent card stock to make a little banner… Read more »

Do you get the feeling I may like butterflies? (Oh and owls but that’s another story). I love this photopolymer stamp set for its versatility and how you can just change something a bit and get a totally different look. This card was stamped with Stazon then water coloured using an Aqua Painter and re-inkers. I placed just a couple of drops of re-inker in the lid of the stamp pads and dipped the Aqua Painter in to get the… Read more »

Is there a colour you don’t use much or like much? There’s a Stampin’ Up! colour which I don’t use much and I don’t know why after making these cards at my Card Class last Saturday. Here’s the first one where we have combined Garden Green with Soft Sky and So Saffron. I love how the ‘You’ in this stamp set is separate so you can place it anywhere and combine it with many other sentiments. I used one of… Read more »

It will be Mother’s Day soon and I had an order for a card which needed to feature the colour blue and some flowers. I hope I have achieved the request with this card. Cut Soft Sky 5 1/2″ x 11″ and score at 2 3/4″, 5 1/2″ and 8 1/4″ Cut Basic Black 2 1/2″ x 4… Read more »
