This month’s Technique Class was on Vellum and the ladies had a lot of fun creating different looks using various Vellum Techniques. Is Vellum something you shy away from because you’re not sure what to do with it? Well here’s one ide. I took a piece of Designer Series Paper, this is one from Serene Scenery and I used Crumb Cake ink and the thin branch from Jar of Love to stamp on the DSP. I then took the stamp… Read more »

This card could be for a birthday or for Christmas or just to send someone a smile. It was a Make ‘n’ Take at our recent Latte Girls Team Meeting and Leonie always comes us with great projects. The joke at these meetings is I usually only ‘Take’ and do the ‘Make’ at home (if ever). However this time I actually completed the projects and thoroughly enjoyed them. The Fancy Frost Suite is just gorgeous.  It uses Soft Sky and… Read more »

Oh lucky you, two tutorials this week. Now those of you who know me well, will understand wy this card share is a little strange for me as I have a love hate relationship with cats (they do not like me at all and cause quite some discomfort). Anyway, it is a cute card and an even cuter stamp set. Measurements: Flirty Flamingo Card Base: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” (fold in half) Designer Paper: 4” x 3” Shimmery White: 2.5” x… Read more »

Thoughtful Branches can be used in many different ways with many different effects. Here’s another card I made for my recent class where I tought how to make the ‘crumpled, shiny look’.  The ladies just love learning to make this card with this great bundle. We used some of my current favourite colour combinations of Rose Red, Sweet Sugarplum and Pear Pizzazz along with some sponging for depth and Wink of Stella for glimmer and shimmer. Here’s a closer look… Read more »

I held a Thoughtful Branches class last Sunday and this is one of the cards we made. It’s another one done on Watercolor paper and painted with Aqua Painters, this time using different colours to the last. This card is more muted and I think I prefer it. It’s a card which was sent to the South Pacific Stampin’ Up! Australia Off ice on behalf of many demonstrators who contributed to Demonstrator Support Week. I’m sure they’ll like it. We… Read more »

This week the Latte Girls are bringing you inspiration for Baby. Make sure you check out the other blogs in the hop to see their inspiration. Mine’s a quick card which features Sweet Sugarplum (you didn’t know it was one of my new favourite colours, did you?) and Copper Emboss Powder. I hope you like what I made. Here’s my Baby Bear which I stamped in Sweet Sugarplum first and then stamped over it with the next stamp in Versamark and… Read more »

There is a very exciting challenge this week – casing the wonderful Tanja Kolar.  Tanja is a much loved member of the Global Design Project Challenge team.
