Well, this is the last card this week using the Floral Affection Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the Love & Affection Photopolymer Stamp Set. I’ve embossed the Dapper denim and used Versamark twice with the Copper Emboss Powder. Doing a double swipe with the Versamark and heat embossing after each time gives a nice thick embossed image. I’ve placed Copper Metallic Thread behind the Dapper Denim. The sentiment and floral images are all stamped in Sweet Sugarplum – my new… Read more »

For today’s card I decided to make my own Designer Series Paper using the Love & Affection Photopolymer Stamp Set. I’ve used 3 of the image stamps and stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black and Emerald Envy which I have stamped off on my Grid Paper. Playful Palette Designer Series Paper Stack is ideal to co-ordinate with these colours and I’ve cut a 1″ strip to go behind the Framelits piece which is adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I’ve cut 3 of… Read more »

This card was inspired by the gorgeous Ann Craig who’s a demonstrator in Canberra, ACT. She posted some photos on Stampin’ Cafe and I just love her work. This card features sponging of colour and using a Blender Pen to colour images before they’re die cut using the Birds & Blooms Thinlit Dies. I used the new Big Shot Platform to emboss with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder which I have sponged with Soft Suede and Soft Sky…. Read more »

I love this set I have been using this week. It’s the ‘Best Birds’ Photopolymer Bundle which combines the Best Birds Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Birds & Blooms Thinlit Dies. You save 10% by purchasing the bundle. I’ve done lots of sponging and used some Post – It Notes to help with the ‘moon’ and the ‘ground’. The branch is cut using the Thinlit Dies and Soft Suede card, as is the tiny bird. The ground is sponged in… Read more »

This week the Latte Girls bring you Wrapped Boxes and Bags, so I decided to make a box with the help of the Gift Bag Punch Board and the Simply Scored by Stampin’ Up! My box isn’t technically wrapped but does have a belly band around it and I have made a gorgeous little gift card to go with it. This box was very easy to make and you can find the template towards to bottom of this post. I’ve… Read more »

I managed to scoot downstairs on my backside again today (still immobile but have to try to get down 15 stairs to make cards!!! Where there’s a will, there’s a way). Anyway I decided I’d try to use some of the new stamp sets I have which haven’t been used yet. Country Livin’ is one of those sets. Sheltering Tree seemed to go well with the truck image and was easy to place being a photopolymer stamp set. It’s stamped… Read more »

I’m hoping to get back to most of my regular blogging now. I  will be sharing some cards I have made a while ago due to my current immobility circumstances. I’m hoping for a bit of a reprieve when I see the surgeon later in the week and perhaps a different cast on my left leg so I can hobble around a bit. It’s now 2 months since I first broke my ankle and the healing process now with plates… Read more »

This is the last of the Drapery/Curtain or Skirt Fold cards we made in a recent technique class. Whilst this Designer Series paper is retired, the selection of Designer Series Paper in the new catalogue is awesome, so make sure you check it out. As will all cards with this fold, you need to score lightly on the Designer Series Paper and using the Simply Scored and then the Stampin’ Up! Trimmer, makes life so easy. I’ve used the Whisper… Read more »

Here is my card for the WWYS Challenge #67 You’ve Got This. It was also part of my June Technique Class. I have the clear mount stamp set of this You’ve Got This and a tip I saw somewhere was to put both sheets into the one clear moun case and transfer the cover sheets from the second set to the back cover of the first set. Brilliant idea!! I tried it and it works well so saves space on my stamp… Read more »
