I did say I’d move on from Thoughtful Branches and I have here, in a way. I’ve used the tiny leaves from the stamp set and te leaves from the Beautiful Branches Thinlits Dies in Gold Glimmer Paper, for this card. I”ve made the card using Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Paper and given it a good spritz with water and added Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz for the background and Peakaboo Peach for the flowers which have been stamped using the… Read more »

This is such a gorgeous bundle, I can’t stop using it. I promise I’ll do something different during the week including a sneak peek from the new Holiday Catalogue which goes live on September 1st. I’ve done a huge amount of cleaning up and cleaning in my Craft Studio, after 3 months away it was looking very tardy. I have a lovely bundle of retired and some current ribbons which I’m going to bag up and send out in my… Read more »

Isn’t Flirty Flamingo just a beautiful colour? I’ve teamed it with Pear Pizzazz on the tree canopy by using a Sponge Dauber to add the Flirty Flamingo on the canopy had been inked up with Pear Pizzazz. The grass was a bit short to go all the way across the card, it was easy to ink up a couple of times and stamp again. Being a photopolymer stamp set means it’s very easy to place the stamps exactly where you want… Read more »

Saturday means another Challenge post and this week I’m back to sharing a card which has been made for the Global Design Project #046 Sketch Challenge. The sketch this week is courtesy of the gorgeous Teneal Williams. My card uses two new colours for 2016 – 2017 – Copper and Sweet Sugarplum. I’ve made a birthday card and stamped the back of the envelope with the #imbringingbackbirthdays stamp. The photo doesn’t quite do it justice, however I have taken a piece… Read more »

Well, this is the last card this week using the Floral Affection Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the Love & Affection Photopolymer Stamp Set. I’ve embossed the Dapper denim and used Versamark twice with the Copper Emboss Powder. Doing a double swipe with the Versamark and heat embossing after each time gives a nice thick embossed image. I’ve placed Copper Metallic Thread behind the Dapper Denim. The sentiment and floral images are all stamped in Sweet Sugarplum – my new… Read more »

For today’s card I decided to make my own Designer Series Paper using the Love & Affection Photopolymer Stamp Set. I’ve used 3 of the image stamps and stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black and Emerald Envy which I have stamped off on my Grid Paper. Playful Palette Designer Series Paper Stack is ideal to co-ordinate with these colours and I’ve cut a 1″ strip to go behind the Framelits piece which is adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I’ve cut 3 of… Read more »

This card was inspired by the gorgeous Ann Craig who’s a demonstrator in Canberra, ACT. She posted some photos on Stampin’ Cafe and I just love her work. This card features sponging of colour and using a Blender Pen to colour images before they’re die cut using the Birds & Blooms Thinlit Dies. I used the new Big Shot Platform to emboss with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder which I have sponged with Soft Suede and Soft Sky…. Read more »

I love this set I have been using this week. It’s the ‘Best Birds’ Photopolymer Bundle which combines the Best Birds Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Birds & Blooms Thinlit Dies. You save 10% by purchasing the bundle. I’ve done lots of sponging and used some Post – It Notes to help with the ‘moon’ and the ‘ground’. The branch is cut using the Thinlit Dies and Soft Suede card, as is the tiny bird. The ground is sponged in… Read more »

This week the Latte Girls bring you Wrapped Boxes and Bags, so I decided to make a box with the help of the Gift Bag Punch Board and the Simply Scored by Stampin’ Up! My box isn’t technically wrapped but does have a belly band around it and I have made a gorgeous little gift card to go with it. This box was very easy to make and you can find the template towards to bottom of this post. I’ve… Read more »
