A couple of weeks ago I shared a similar card which was created for my April Technique Class. The class participants learn a new technique, receive printed notes with coloured sample photos and make some card front or samples. The class typically goes for 2 hours. So, this class was learning to use the brayer. When I shared my cards on different groups I was surprised at the number of requests I received to do a video tutorial. Now, I’m sharing… Read more »

I have 2 versions of today’s card and I’m hoping if you haven’t bought this bundle yet, you will before the new catalogue comes out. The Watercolor Wings Photopolymer Set and the Bold Butterflies Framelit Dies are currently bundled for A$62.75. If you purchase them separately it would cost you A$74 so you save 15%. However these two products will not be bundled together in the new catalogue which commences 1st June. So my advice to you is to buy… Read more »

Well, this card is from Saturday’s Technique Class where we learnt to use a Brayer with various colours and some sponging thrown in to finish off some little bits. Now I have never tried this technique before and when preparing for the class I seemed to end up with ink from elbow to all over my hands. Anything I touched seemed to have ‘extra’ ink on it. Here’s the sketch by Teneale Williams: The fold I have used is the Drapery Fold, however I… Read more »

Do you sometimes need a card which just expresses your best wishes or that you’re thinking of someone? This was a fun technique from the March Techniques Class. Lots of colour and lots of elements with Punches and the Big Shot being used to achieve this look. We did use some isocol (Rubbing Alcohol) in this technique and you need to ensure you’re in a well ventilated room if you’re using a lot of it. I three-quarters filled a Stampin’ Spritz bottle… Read more »
