Today I’m sharing a tip with you on how to ensure your stamped image will match up with your Thinlit Die when you go to die cut it with your Big Shot. Here’s the card I made once I had finished the video. I used the Best Birds Bundle which is great to buy as a bundle as you save 10% I used the branch and added some of the flowers from the set and die cut them. They’re stamped… Read more »

Thoughtful Branches can be used in many different ways with many different effects. Here’s another card I made for my recent class where I tought how to make the ‘crumpled, shiny look’.  The ladies just love learning to make this card with this great bundle. We used some of my current favourite colour combinations of Rose Red, Sweet Sugarplum and Pear Pizzazz along with some sponging for depth and Wink of Stella for glimmer and shimmer. Here’s a closer look… Read more »

Today we’re making a card because we’re thankful. All week Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world have been celebrating Demonstrator Support Team Appreciation Week. These are the lovely people behind the scenes who fix up all our mistakes, listen to our complaints and are generally the good-fairies in Demonstrator Land and we’re so appreciative of them. So I felt it only fitting to share how to make a card, along those lines. Measurements: Night of Navy cardstock – 5… Read more »

I held a Thoughtful Branches class last Sunday and this is one of the cards we made. It’s another one done on Watercolor paper and painted with Aqua Painters, this time using different colours to the last. This card is more muted and I think I prefer it. It’s a card which was sent to the South Pacific Stampin’ Up! Australia Off ice on behalf of many demonstrators who contributed to Demonstrator Support Week. I’m sure they’ll like it. We… Read more »

I did say I’d move on from Thoughtful Branches and I have here, in a way. I’ve used the tiny leaves from the stamp set and te leaves from the Beautiful Branches Thinlits Dies in Gold Glimmer Paper, for this card. I”ve made the card using Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Paper and given it a good spritz with water and added Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz for the background and Peakaboo Peach for the flowers which have been stamped using the… Read more »

This is such a gorgeous bundle, I can’t stop using it. I promise I’ll do something different during the week including a sneak peek from the new Holiday Catalogue which goes live on September 1st. I’ve done a huge amount of cleaning up and cleaning in my Craft Studio, after 3 months away it was looking very tardy. I have a lovely bundle of retired and some current ribbons which I’m going to bag up and send out in my… Read more »

Again, the photos don’t quite do this card justice. I’ve used Wink of Stella on the leaves which pop out from behind the trees. The Wink of Stella really adds some sheen and sparkle to the card. I’ve also added some 1/8″  Silver Ribbon behind the embellishment. The sentiment comes from Flurry of Wishes and is stamped in one of my new favourite colours, Dapper Denim. The Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is very versatile as you can use… Read more »

The Latte Girls have another showcase of inspiration this week using the Thoughtful Branches Bundle which is available this month only while stocks last. Here’s my card for this week’s Blog Hop. I originally saw this idea by Jo Anne Hewins and have changed the colours and Designer Series Paper. It would be a great card to give in person. I’ve used Pear Pizzazz for the stem and a layer of Rich Razzleberry for the under flower with the top… Read more »
