No Christmas project today but another of the Slider Cards we made in my last Technique Class which the ladies absolutely loved. These cards are such fun to make for someone special. They’re not as difficult as you think. Now, wasn’t that easy? We made 3 different cards in the class and I’ve already shared 2 of them and today’s is the last. We used Pool Party as the card base and then a panel of Crushed Curry – sort… Read more »

This week’s Tip Thursday is all about quick projects to make for gifts. Often the go to gift is chocolate or sweets of some sort, so why not use your craft supplies to make a quick little package that personalises the gift?   Now I shared one of these projects yesterday, so I’ll give you the measurements today and a video for you to watch for the instructions if you want them. Note Imperial measurements in blue are only approximate… Read more »

Today I’m going to show you how I used Stampin’ Up!’s Thick Whisper White Card to make a Note and Pencil Box all in one. Now this would make a lovely gift, especially for busy people who like to keep their post – it or note cubes together with a pen for quick notes and access. You could even add a yearly calendar to the front instead of the sentiment or image. Watch the video or scroll down for the… Read more »

I had a great deal of fun creating these little Tassels to include in my Team Gifts and Roomie Gifts for On Stage Live a couple of weeks ago. I thought I’d share them with you today. Now whilst filming this Video, I realised the lighting isn’t great. So I do apologies and will try to rectify it soon. However, I’m sure you’ll be able to pick up the idea by watching the video today. Designer Series Paper 6″ x… Read more »

Welcome to another Tip Thursday and your tip this week is another use for the Envelope Punch Board. I promised you yesterday, I would share with you how I made the little Gift Box which isn’t so little really as it measures when finished 2 1/2″ x 2 3/4″ and 4 1/2″ high so it will fit quite a bit in it. So this is the one I’m making today in the video. I’ve still used Candy Cane Lane Designer… Read more »

This week I have another Gift Card for you to make an alternative to the one I showed a couple of weeks back. I got this idea from Billie Moan at Rambling Rose Studios. (I think all ideas are shared and are a conglomeration of ideas from all over the place.)You can use the Envelope Punch Board to make an envelope from Designer Series Paper for it and just add a mailing label to the front. The video will show… Read more »

Today’s Tip Thursday is a technique called Rock ‘n’ Roll. I’ve already shared a couple of cards using this technique and today there is another. I love this colour combination of Blushing Bride and Sweet Sugarplum. Anyway watch the video and have a play yourself. It seems to take a bit of a wrist action but once perfected is an easy way to make a WOW card. Here’s the inside of the card, which isn’t great as I slipped doing… Read more »

Today’s Tip Thursday will show you how to make a Gift Card Holder with Belly Band, however it has a little ‘pop-up’ Gift Card Holder apeture inside which leaves you space to stamp and write your greeting. I think it’s quite cute and it’s very easy to make. Watch the video and all the measurements are below to make it easy for you to make. Gift Card Envelope Cherry Cobbler – 7 1/2″ x 7 1/2″ punch and score at… Read more »
