WWYS #106 Delicate Details Delicate Details has to be one of my favourites from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure and I have a card which features most of these stamps so I thought it would be a good entry for WWYS #106 Delicate Details this week. Make sure you have a look at the WWYS Blog to see all the inspiration from the Design Team and the other entries in the challenge. Now I did feature this card and another similar in… Read more »

Whoo hoo I’m back participating in this wonderful challenge blog again this week. I love challenges as they encourage you to work with stamp sets you may not have used for a while and sometimes they even get you out of your comfort zone. This is a great stamp set and so I’m glad it’s the WWYS Challenge #100 // Number of Years. I decided to team my card with the gorgeous 3/8: Metallic Ribbon from the Combo Pack in the… Read more »

Today I decided to participate in the WWYS Challenge #99 Sunshine Sayings challenge. It’s a great stamp set, which I have in clear mount. It has lots of sentiments and allows you to ‘play’ with the images to create different effects. There’s a pack of Sunshine Wishes Thinlit Dies which co-ordinates with the set and you can buy them as a bundle and save 10%. I had lots of fun creating this card and used a colour I don’t tend to use… Read more »

I’m back to trying some challenges this week and thought this WWYS Challenge #92 // Star of Light would be a good one to do. I just love this stamp set but haven’t had much time to play with it. I shared a card yesterday and decided to make another using different colours. Here’s my card today: I’ve used Elegant Eggplant, Smoky Slate and Silver Glimmer Paper along with Whisper White.I’ve added a rhinestone to the centre of the stars. The background… Read more »

Saturday often means Challenge Day and today I’m participating in the WWYS Challenge #78 Sweet Cupcake Challenge. I was excited when I saw this challenge as I have the stamp set. However, it’s one which hasn’t seen any ink yet. It did today after the power was turned back on. The local electricity people were upgrading something and turned the power off at 9 am mid load of washing, but I did have coffee in hand. Now back to the card.  … Read more »

It’s Saturday and time for my blog post featuring a Challenge. This week it’s for the WWYS Challenge #73 Jar of Love Blog. I haven’t used this stamp set before so it was lovely to use a new set from the 2016 – 2017 Annual Catalogue. Here’s my card: I cut the inside of the jar out with Paper Snips (it was easy to do) and added Vellum to the back of the jar so you could still see some of the… Read more »

WWYS Challenge #71 // Falling Flowers. Isn’t this a lovely stamp set? You can bundle it with May Flowers Framelit Dies as a gorgeous bundle. I have done some Emboss Resist and watercolour today for this card. I really enjoyed making this card with Pear Pizzazz, Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo and Sweet Sugarplum on Shimmery White card. The Magnetic Platform ensures the dies stay in place while cutting, however one of my pieces of card was warped because of the water… Read more »

This is just so exciting. As winner of the WWYS #67 I get to be guest designer for this challenge. You can see my card for WWYS Challenge #67 You’ve Got This. Now a lot has happened since then resulting surgery on my left ankle with plates and screws being inserted on both sides and me now being totally immobile. So my good friend Leonie Schroder came to the rescue and brought the stamp set and matching Designer Series Paper so… Read more »

Here is my card for the WWYS Challenge #67 You’ve Got This. It was also part of my June Technique Class. I have the clear mount stamp set of this You’ve Got This and a tip I saw somewhere was to put both sheets into the one clear moun case and transfer the cover sheets from the second set to the back cover of the first set. Brilliant idea!! I tried it and it works well so saves space on my stamp… Read more »
