Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop – Baby Wipe Technique

Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop – Baby Wipe Technique is this week’s blog hop. This is such a fun technique and quite easy to do too. The Latte Girls have pleasure in bringing you projects using this fun technique. Make sure you visit all the Latte Girls in the Hop this week:

Here are my projects:

Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop - Baby Wipe Technique

This reminds me of summer in Australia with lots of ‘sun burnt’ leaves in gardens during very hot summer days. It also reminds me of Autumn when the leaves change colours and drop delightfully around the base of the trees ready to scoop up and have fun with or rake into a heap for the compost pile. The black speckles were a fun touch with Basic Black re-inker and my Aqua Painter with lots of water and a flicking effect.

I even used the same effect on the inside of the card. The Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop – Baby Wipe Technique today was so much fun and who knew it would yield more than one card? I used Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze for my colours and stamped in Basic Black Archival ink.

Now I didn’t let my inked up baby wipe go to waste. I used it to make a background for my second project:

Utilising my Baby Wipe  to swipe over some Whisper White card stock gave me a second card background. I then stamped a leaf on it in Basic Black Archival ink before adding my sentiment. The sentiment for both cards was made with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and Layering Squares Framelit Dies. Here’s a last look at by first card.
