My project uses the suite to make boxes and bags. To be honest I didn’t feel like making a card today. I’ve recently reorganised my craft room and set up a search for my Gift Bag Punch Board as it needed dusting off. I thought the Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper was great for the projects I had in mind.
I’ve used a whole sheet of 12″ x 12″ or 30.5 cm x 30.5 cm of the D.S.P. to make a Large Gift Bag using the Gift Bag Punch Board.
This is only 1 of the pieces and it’s gorgeous. I turned over 1 1/2″ or about 4 cm at the top to make a cuff before punching the holes for the handles.
I’ve used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to tamp the circle image from the Year of Cheer stamp set . I stamped the sentiment in Memento and the image in Versamark and embossed with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Now it’s ready for a lovely bottle of something yummy.
I couldn’t stop at just one project with this beautiful Designer Series Paper which is one sided as it’s a Specialty D.S.P. and is more card weight than paper.
The lid is made from Champagne Foil and I’ve used the Copper Trim to tie it all together.

A closer look at the tag reveals a Foil Snowflake. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark first and then Cherry Cobbler before stampin onto Whisper White card and using Clear Emboss Powder over it. I stamped the snowflake next and used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig (bring on the Stamparatus!!) to position it and used Silver Emboss Powder.
