This week at the Global Design Project it’s CASE (Copy And Share Everything) the Designer. So for GDP #120 there’s a sketch and we as participants in the challenge interpret the sketch. Now the Design Team have loads of inspiration for GDP #120 and I do hope you pop over there to see what they have for you plus have a look at the other challenge participants entries.
Krista has given us a gorgeous sketch. My card is a bit in left field I think, however I was really happy with the way it turned out. I used Brusho, so you’re never quite sure how it’s going to turn out.
Brusho Colour Crystals of Gamboge, Yellow and Moss Green were used. Then I used a Stampin’ Spritzer to thoroughly wet some Watercolor Paper and then sprinkled the colours on randomly. I wasn’t quite happy with the speckled effect so I spritzed again. This time the Watercolor Paper was almost dripping. (Make sure you have some paper towel under it.) Here’s a closer look at the leaves for GDP #120.
I used Vintage Leaves and stamped in Old Olive and then die cut the leaves using the Leaflets Framelits Dies. I love how the combination of stamping and Brusho worked on this project. It was a bit out of my comfort zone and not something I’d normally do. However, the idea has been rolling around in my head for a while and I felt GDP #120 was the ideal time to give it a try. I’m so glad I did.

The sentiment comes from the Colorful Seasons stamp set and is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I used one of the leaves from the Colorful Seasons stamp set and Old Olive ink to stamp on the inside of the card and on the outside of the envelope.
I hope you like my versions of GDP #120. I’d love to read your comments, so why not leave one? Thanks for stopping by.
