Welcome to the GDP #121 Colour Challenge for this week. Just sneaking in under the wire. Do you ever have one of those days when you have a whole lot planned and hardly any get completed? That was me yesterday. I managed to get to projects made but alas finished this one too late to photograph. So, I decided to do the blog post and wait for the sun to shine for the photography.
So this week’s GDP #121 Colour Challenge is a colour one. I had to do some thinking and then some tweaking of my original idea but I like what I’ve made having said that. Here’s the colour swatch:
Great colours aren’t they? Now while I remember, please jump on over to the Global Design Project Blog and look at the beautiful projects by the Design Team and then scroll down to look at what other challenge participants have done. Leave a comment while you’re visiting, we all love comments.

Now the sun is made using Peekaboo Peach and a 1″ Circle Punch which I punched out of a Post It Note and applied the Post It Note with the hole in it to the card front. Then I used a Sponge Dauber and Peekaboo Peach to create an image resembling the sun.
The birds are stamped in Basic Black Archival Ink and coloured using Peekaboo Peach and a Blender Pen.
I used an Aqua Painter and Bermuda Bay ink to create a wash for the background. This is all done on Shimmery White Card. Then the flowers are stamped in Bermuda Bay and Sweet Sugarplum and coloured with the same ink using a Blender Pen.
