OK, so I know these usually happen on Monday but Quick & Easy Good Tidings is here today. It has a FREE downloadable tutorial. I had a blog hop on Monday and a Video already planned for yesterday, so this morning was my next opportunity.
This card really is a Quick & Easy Good Tidings. You can do as much or as little ink distressing or shading as you want depending on the look you’re after.
It uses what aren’t traditional Christmas colours with Pool Party and Black and White, but I think it works don’t you?
The supplies could easily be changed with something you have on hand. However, I do love the Good Tiding Stamp Set which is available in Photopolymer and works well with a Stampin’ Pierce mat beneath it.
TIP: Use an un-pierced mat as sometime the indentations caused by paper piercing give an uneven image. Keep the plastic bag on your Stampin’ Pierce mat. If you get ink on it, it’s easy to clean off with a wet wipe of a bit of Stampin’ Mist and a paper towel.
Go carefully with the ink distressing or shading to start It’s easier to add than it is to take off. So less in this case really is more. Remember too, your ink will dry a couple of shades lighter, but still be careful.
Now the Striped Ribbon and Black Rhinestone Jewels are available in the Holiday Catalogue. You can purchase them through my Online Store.
PLEASE NOTE: Some of the item numbers on the download are incorrect, My apologies for any inconvenience caused
I hope you enjoy making this card and would love to read your comments and see your cards.
