Welcome to another Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This month the focus is on The New Catalogue. I’m sure you will be inspired by all the gorgeous projects made with new products.

The New Catalogue

The New Catalogue

I’ve used to gorgeous new 6″ x 6″ Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper for the background layer of this card and when you open the card, you can see the reverse side of the D.S.P. on the inside.

It’s easy to make and I have a downloadable tutorial for you at the end of the post.

I’ve also used the Abstract impressions Stamp Set, which coordinates with the paper, for the sentiment. After stamping the sentiment I die cut it with the new Stitched Labels Framelits Dies.

I’ve used a Dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend to colour on the wrong side of the Pearlized Doily and it gives the pearlized front of the doily just a glimmer of Calypso Coral whilst remaining pearlized.

I also used a strip of the D.S.P. on the inside of the card and decorated the envelope flap with the same D.S.P. Just add some Liquid Glue or Snail all around the edge of the flap and lay the D.S.P. down covering the entire flap, then use your snips to trim away the excess D.S.P.

Here’s a final look at the card with the matching envelope.
