Balloon Celebration

Here’s another in my series of cards using the Balloon Celebration Photopolymer Stamp Set which is in the current Occasions Catalogue.

I used the balloon image and 5 different colours to randomly stamp on the card front. I’ve then cut a piece of Rose Red card on which to stamp the sentiment in Versamark and used Silver Emboss Powder and then heat set it.

You know how I love to stamp inside the card and you can’t have a naked envelope. I often think a stamped image on the envelope gives the postal workers a smile and also tells the recipient it’s happy mail and to be opened immediately.

I used 3 of the colours and the same balloon image to stamp inside the card and on the outside of the envelope.

I often stamp off first (ink up the image and stamp on scrap paper, then stamp on the card stock). Sometimes these bold images look a bit ‘too much’ with straight ink so stamping off softens the image.
