Today I bring you part 2 in my 5 day series with Brusho Crystal Colour Technique 2. Again, this is a simple or basic technique which will amaze you as you see the change of the Brusho Colour Crystals in front of your eyes. This product is so easy to use and a must have in every paper crafter’s stash,
Brusho Crystal Colour Technique 2 is best done on watercolor paper which has been embossed and heat set.
Watch the short video and I’ll pop more details down below it. Thanks for watching today.
Brusho Crystal Colour Technique 2 Steps:
- Cut watercolor Paper to size about 6.3 cm x 15 cm or 2 1/2″ x 6″ trim as necessary
- Choose sentiment and stamp in Versamark
- Use White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set (Note: I used White on the sample above and clear on the one in the video – the choice is yours)
- Shake 2 or 3 Brusho Colour Crystals over the Watercolor Paper
- Use a Stampin’ Spritzer and spray until happy with the result
- Allow to dry, then make your card (Note – you can dry it with your Heat Tool
Brusho Crystal Colour Technique 2 Card Details
- Card base is 14.8 cm x 21 cm scored and folded at 10. 5 cm or 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″
- Peekaboo Peach A4 card cut to 13.8 cm x 9.5 cm or 5″ x 3 3/4″
- Watercolor Paper cut to 12.8 cm x 6.5 cm
- Ribbon/Trim – enough to tie the bow
- Prussian Blue and Yellow used in this sample
Here’s the other sample which I decided I didn’t like well enough to turn into a card. Watercolor Paper is like any other card stock – it has two sides so this will be given a makeover at some stage or I may use it for experimenting.
I worked out that in fact this one was embossed with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder where as the previous one I must have mistakenly embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I much prefer the other one, however I’d love to read your comments on which one you prefer.
Brusho Crystal Colour Technique 2 – all the products for the series of videos this week on Brusho Colour Crystals, you can purchase from my Online Store from Wednesday 3rd January, 2018. Don’t forget for every A$90 you spend you get to choose a FREE Sale-A-Bration product, plus you will receive your usual ‘Thank You’ Gift from me.

I’m trying something NEW to me! The 12 Deals of Christmas – only available through me!
12 Deals of Christmas.
So, what’s this all about? Well, I don’t do sales, and I don’t do discounts any more. (They haven’t worked for me 😊 ) Stampin’ Up! offers the best quality products at the best prices around So I’m not offering to reduce the prices of products, or sharing my discount. But what I want to do, as a one off, just for Christmas, is offer 12 extra goodies that go into the regular Thank You Gift Pack that I send out to all my customers.
Each ‘deal’ will only be available for the stated day, and will vary in price, product and value.
I get an immediate email notification of all orders that come in, so you don’t need to worry about getting in touch, or emailing to say you want to take advantage of the deal, I’ll send it out automatically.
Please note, if you select NO CONTACT, I cannot, by law, send you anything. Please make sure that you deselect that button….
Today’s Deal is –
All orders over $80 will receive a pack of Tutti-Frutti Adhesive-Backed Sequins (worth $12.25) from me, as well as your regular Thank You Gift Pack. It will come direct from me, as this is an offer direct from me. It will not come with the order you place. Please use the hostess code for the month, email or text me your order and it will still count!
Fine Print. This is not a catch, there is no single winner, this is not a competition. Please do not add it to your order, (unless of course you want duplicates!) as I will be sending this separately.
All Thank You Gift Packs will be posted after the 12 Deals of Christmas have finished.
I hope you enjoyed this project, please do use the hostess code to get free product! (hostess code shown in the top right of my blog for the current one!) Learn more HERE. If your order is over $250, please do not use this code as YOU become the hostess and get the Rewards!
