Do you need to make some quick cards for children? In this case these cards were made for boys using the Boys Will Be Boys stamp set. My Card Class ladies made 2 each of these cards, using the same stamp set but different images. Here I’ve used the Aqua Painter to give the darker underside of the parachute more colour. Male cards can be difficult to make so I came up with this idea for my Triple Treat Class last Friday. I’ve used the Circle Thinlit Die and cut the card to 14cm (5.5″0 and scored at 6.4cm (2.5″) which gives a little hidden flap for writing your message to the recipient. I just love Sheltering Tree and have again just used the tree canopy to create this card. Very similar to Tuesday’s card, however not so heavy-handed with the tree canopy. When the Occasions Catalogue was launched I shared many a project using Sheltering Tree Photopolymer Stamp Set. I haven’t used it for a while however, used it in a bit of a different way for this card. The colours are Rose Red and Blushing Bride. I’ve decided to try another floral stamp set with a punch – Petal Potpourri which combines with the Flower Medallion Punch. I’ve used the punch on the front of the card. The sentiments from Mum’s Love Photopolymer Stamp Set and I’ve used the Flower Medallion Punch to punch the flower from the shape of the Clear Oval Accent Bigz l Die in Strawberry Slush. Yesterday I shared the Vivid Vases stamp set with some sewing and today I’ve decided to take a totally different direction and use some dry embossed vellum. I used an Aqua Painter again to colour the image and added tiny pearl to the foliage of the flower. The bow is made from the Painted Blooms Cotton Twine.
