Have you seen this gorgeous elephant in the Occasions Catalogue? This is Part 1 of my series on Lucky Elephant stamp set. This one is done with Stampin’ Write Markers and I have a Video to show you how I did it. Isn’t he just gorgeous? He reminds me of the Elephant rides we used to have at Taronga Zoo way back when I was a child. It’s an easy technique and I think you’ll agree it looks good…. Read more »

I am so excited to be apart of this International Blog Hop celebrating all things NEW in Sale-A-Bration. There’s a full list of participants at the end of this post. So, I decided to focus on products from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure with a few other products thrown in. Both my cards use the “So Very Much” stamp set, from the Sale-A-Bration brochure, which is available in clear and wood mount. This is a gorgeous stamp set with so many possibilities… Read more »

I am often asked about what should be in your Basic Tool Kit, so I decided to do a quick Video on what you should have when you go to a class or crop. These items will be very handy for whatever event you attend. If you have them ready, you can just pop them in your bag and go. All these items are available from Stampin’ Up! and you can order them from my Online Store. Paper trimmer Adhesives… Read more »

Today I have another technique using Watercolor Pencils and I hope you give it a try as you can achieve some really beautiful results. <> The pencil needs to be quite damp but not dripping wet. I ended up mounting these on the same colour as the pencil I used in the video and then adding Stampin’ Dimensionals to the coloured piece and adhered that to the front of my card. I’ve used the same image to stamp on the… Read more »

I shared this card the other day but thought I’d share it with you again along with the Stampin’ Up! Video about this gorgeous paper. Now I’m not a great fan of colouring in – I failed at it in school. I make cards and memory albums as my ‘stress relief’. However can I say, this paper combined with Stampin’ Up!’s new Watercolor Pencils, is just wonderful. I chose to just colour small pieces of this paper as a card… Read more »

This blog hop is an anything but holidays one, using holiday catalogue products. So that’s what I’ve done and focused on the Paisleys & Posies in the Holiday Catalogue. My card and box both use this delightful Designer Series Paper and the Paisleys & Posies Photopolymer Bundle. Here’s my card: The sentiment is from Frosted Medallions in the Holiday Catalogue and is layered on some Copper Foil Sheet and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
