It will be Mother’s Day soon and I had an order for a card which needed to feature the colour blue and some flowers. I hope I have achieved the request with this card. Here are the project details just in case you’d like to make a screen card for a special person in your life. Cut Soft Sky 5 1/2″ x 11″ and score at 2 3/4″, 5 1/2″ and 8 1/4″ Cut Basic Black 2 1/2″ x 4… Read more »

Here’s another card today using Project Life Remember This Photopolymer Stamp Set. It’s quite a versatile set, not just for memory keeping or scrapbooking or Project Life. Very similar to the card I shared the other day. However, to make it a little more masculine I have tied a knot with the Pool Party Cotton Twine instead of a bow and added a different colour set of stars on the front of the card. When you’re using the Star punch… Read more »

I’ve just spent the last 2 days at Stampin’ Up!’s Inspire, Create, Share (Convention) for Australasia on the Gold Coast in Queensland. Just love this event as every year it inspires me and boosts my creative juices. As part of this event I also belong to a group called ESAD (Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators) and each year we identify ourselves with a badge of some sort. This year the theme was Owls. Just love Owls (in case you didn’t know… Read more »

I just love Sheltering Tree and have again just used the tree canopy to create this card. Very similar to Tuesday’s card, however not so heavy-handed with the tree canopy. So this card uses just the Blushing Bride around the edges with the tree canopy stamp from Sheltering Tree. I’ve used Blushing Bride and Rose Red card as well as Whispering White. I like to use Whispering White card inside my cards and use one of the images from one… Read more »

It’s important that we utilise our stamp sets as much as we can. We make an investment in them so we should use them for every project we can think of. I used a Project Life Stamp Set for this card as it was about celebrating and birthdays. I wanted something which could be used for a male and perhaps a teenager and I think this stamp set helps achieve that aim. Make a note to stamp the sentiment before… Read more »

When the Occasions Catalogue was launched I shared many a project using Sheltering Tree Photopolymer Stamp Set. I haven’t used it for a while however, used it in a bit of a different way for this card. The colours are Rose Red and Blushing Bride. I’ve used just the tree canopy and stamped around the edge of the Whisper White. You get a great effect by inking up in Rose Red, stamping and then stamping off a couple of times…. Read more »

Each month I participate in a local market – Windsor Riverside Markets. This month I ran a free class at my stall. The card had to be quick and easy to make with few supplies as I need to transport everything to the market. It’s coming up to Mother’s Day, so I decided all participants could make a Mother’s Day card to take away. We used the Petite Petals Stamp set and co-ordinating punch with a Note card and envelope…. I have another card using the lovely Petal Potpourri Stamp Set today. This one has no sentiment, however I have stamped a flower from the set both inside the card and on the back and front of the envelope. I’ve used All Abloom Designer Series Paper Stack again and added some of the Cotton Ribbon in Whisper White. I also added a Rhinestone to the centre of the flower. I’ve stamped tone on tone on the Lost Lagoon card stock… Read more »

I’ve used the Beautiful Bunch stamp set a few times lately to show case its versatility. Today’s cards are Thank You cards using this same set. I’ve again used the 2014 – 2016 In Colours of Lost Lagoon and Blackberry Bliss with a touch of Hello Honey for the flower centres. With this card I have used Gorgeous Grunge for the background and Sassy Salutations for the sentiment and added the Lost Lagoon Stitched Satin ribbon as a feature behind… Read more »
