Here’s another card I have made for the Global Design Project #023 | Theme Challenge.
I was inspired by a card I saw on Carolyn Bennie’s blog where she did some Faux Embossing. I decided to do a similar thing using Balloons. I just wish I had a way of ensuring the photograph represented the colours better.
I’ve used the Balloon Bouquet Punch to punch out some balloons in Soft Sky and then adhered them to the Soft Sky layer of the card. I also used a large balloon from the same punch to layer lots of small colourful balloons from the Party Punch Pack. It’s added to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some Silver Metallic Thread to the back of the balloon using a Glue Dot and added a small balloon in Cherry Cobbler to the left side of the bannered sentiment which is adhered with a Stampin’ Dimensional in the centre and Glue Dots either end thus giving the banner a bit of a wave.
I used Crushed Curry and Night of Navy to stamp some stars to the inside layer of the card and on the outside front and back of the envelope.
I hope you pop on over to the Global Design Project and have a look at the inspiration of the designers plus the entries in this week’s challenge.
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you come back again soon to see what else I have to share.
Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share …
