This month we’re doing Stamping Techniques To Try is the Chalkboard Technique. You’ll love this quick and easy but effective technique.
I’ve basically used the same stamp set for each card. I changed the technique on each card and will explain as I go
Chalkboard Technique
Card 1
- With a sponge swipe it across a Whisper White Craft Stampin’ Pad, then lightly across the black card starting off the card
- Stamp the sentiment in Whisper White Craft Stampin’ Pad and either heat set or allow to dry
- Use the White Stampin’ Chalk Marker to create a border if you wish
Card 2
- Swipe over the card with an Embossing Buddy and leave the residue
- Use Whisper White Craft Stampin’ Pad to stamp the sentiment
- Cover in White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set
- Use the White Stampin’ Chalk Marker to create a border if you wish
Card 3
This is my favourite
- Use Whisper White Craft Stampin’ Pad to stamp the sentiment and images
- Use Watercolor Pencils to colour over the white inked area
- Add highlights with the White Stampin’ Chalk Marker
- Use the White Stampin’ Chalk Marker to create a border if you wish
