Deck The Halls

Deck The Halls

My card for the Holidays today is Deck The Halls ready for Christmas. The card I have is a CASE from the Holiday Catalogue. I’m sure you’ll like. It would make a great masculine card or change the Designer Series Paper and ink colours to make a more feminine looking card.

Deck The Halls

I’ve used some Designer Series Paper from Merry Little Christmas. You could swap it out for any of the Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper packs. There are 2 tiny strips of DSP peeking out from behind the banner which was cut using my trimmer and snips. There’s also some Jute Twine behind the banner. It is adhered to the back of the banner with Glue Dots. You could save on Jute Twine by just having loose ends peeking out but I have a ‘mock’ bow on the back of the banner. The little Old Olive stamped poinsettia is punched out using a 3/4″ Circle Punch.

I used that same stamp and ink to stamp inside the card and on the outside of the envelope. The banner is adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp the greeting in Basic Black Archival ink and the little strips in Old Olive above and below the Greeting.

Although Deck The Halls is an easy card to make, I’m sure any recipient would love it and you can WOW it up by adding some Enamel Shapes or Pearls or Rhinestones.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you come back again soon to see what else I have to share.

Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share…
