This was the first sample I made and it could be used for anyone you love and not just a specific occasion. Let’s make the world a better place by sharing our love with others. These little boxes , which are made from the, Lots of Love Box Framelits Dies, are easy to decorate. I used the Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper for both boxes, however you could use whatever is appropriate for your occasion.

You can see I have used a Metallic Foil Doily for the base of my embellishment. I’ve added 1/4″ Whisper White Organza Ribbon, die cut 5 Vellum Leaves from the bundle. Then I added the die cut heart and sentiment which are both stamped in Berry Burst.

This is the box made in the video, where I die cut about 5 of the flowers from the Petal Palette Bundle after stamping in Basic Gray Archival Ink. I coloured the leaves using the Old Olive Duo and the Color Lifter Stampin’ Blends and the flowers with Berry Burst ink and a Blender Pen. The leaves from the Petals and More Thinlit Dies are die cut from Vellum and adhered using Glue Dots.

The whole embellishment piece is built up on a Delicate Doily which is attached to the Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Decorated Sure Do Love You Box Basics:

  • I used scraps of Designer Series Paper cut to 6 1/2″ x 4 3/8″ or 16.5 cm x 11 cm – you need 2 of these for the front and back of the box
  • Check the directional pattern of your DSP and cut accordingly
  • Add Tear & Tape to the 2 sides of one box half and put box together
  • Build up embellishment piece on a doily
  • You need about 12″ or 30.5 cm of 1/4″ Whisper White Organza Ribbon
  • Enough other ribbon to complete your project
