2016 Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop Header

Welcome to another ESAD Blog Hop. I just love these as you see so much awe inspiring creativity and this is brought to you by Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from the South Pacific. Make sure you visit all the blogs in the hop and leave a comment where you can.

Here’s my first project. It’s 3D and uses Paisleys & Posies which is a Photopolymer Stamp Set which allows your creative talent to shine. I made a framed art work (don’t look for the glass as it broke.)

I’ve used a variety of the stamps using In Colors to create the art work inside a frame. I found it easier to pencil in the outline and place the stamps roughly over half of the heart before inking up. This gave me an idea of stamp placement and space I may have left. Here’s a closer look:

Once you have all you basic images stamped it’s just a matter of going in with some of the tiny images and filling in the space left. I’ve used Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron, Dapper Denim and Sweet Sugarplum.

Now the flowers are created using one of the Framelit Dies with Whisper White and Sweet Sugarplum card. I broke the fibres of the card with a bone folder and twisted the shape with tweezers then adhered each flower with a couple of Glue Dots. I have stamped the leaves and cut them with a Framelit Die from the set, in Mint Macaron.

It’s an easy piece of artwork to design and fairly quick once you get an idea of image placement. Give it a go. I have another quick project for you too.

ESAD Information

Here’s my Gingerbread Swag which is held together with Linen Thread and stamped in Chocolate Chip. I needed to try and make each Gingerbread Man look like an individual, hence the different elements.

Here’s a closer look at the 3 in the middle. I’ve used the small heart from the Cookie Cutter Punch for the buttons.

The hats, scarves and bow ties come from the Jolly Friends Photopolymer Bundle.

I hope you have enjoyed my projects today and ensure you visit the other blogs as well.

Thanks so much Liv. The Paisley Frame was working outside my comfort zone but it all came together in the end. I just loved playing with the Gingerbread men. Many thanks for leaving a comment
