ESAD 2016 Holiday Catalogue Favourite Products Blog Hop

Welcome to another ESAD Blog Hop and this one is in celebration of our favourites from the current Holiday Catalogue. There is so much to love about this catalogue and if you haven’t got yourself organised for Christmas yet, there will be some wonderful inspiration shared across all the blogs in the hop so make sure you look at them all.

My first project is a 12″ x 12″ frame using the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper (D.S.P.).

It was a little difficult to photograph but I think you’ll be able to see what I’ve done. The backing is a piece of 12″ x 12″ Whisper White card. I’ve then used 3 1/2″ squares of Real Red and the D.S.P. layered on top of that is 3 1/4″ squares. I’ve cut some pieces from the D.S.P. and used them to decorate the some of the squares and others are decorated with elements stamped and punched or cut from the Jolly Friends Photopolymer Bundle. Here’s the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper (D.S.P.)

I also used the Holly Jolly Layers stamp set with the Layering Squares and Stitched Shapes Framelits dies for the centre square. It was quite easy to make. The only difficult thing is finding the frame.

My card also uses the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper. The sentiment is from the Cookie Cutter Photopolymer Stamp Set. Photopolymer stamps are so great as you can see where you’re stamping and you can shape them as you wish. In this instance I’ve created a curve to coincide with the shape made by the houses which are all hand cut and adhered individually.

Of course, if you’re giving a lovely card you also have a gift which will need a Gift Bag made with the Gift Bag Punch Board. This was a piece which was left over and measures 12″ x 8 1/2″ and I made a Large Bag.

I punched the holes in the front and back of the bag after I’d completed the cuff which is about 1 1/4″.  The Real Red Satin Stitched Ribbon is just knotted on each end inside the bag/ If you put a cuff on your bag make sure you adhere it down at the join.

Now make sure you take a look at all the other inspiration celebrating favourites of the Holiday Catalogue. Don’t forget to leave me a comment with your email address if you’d like to joing ESAD or want any more information on anything posted here.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you come back again soon to see what else I have to share.

Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share …
