Welcome to another wonderful ESAD (Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators) Blog Hop. If you’ve come here from Barbara’s Blog, I’m sure you enjoyed the inspiration she shared. If you’ve just started here, then you can scroll down further in the post to see a full list of participants. We all love to read your comments. so please leave everyone some inspiration love.
Here’s my first card to share today using Playful Palette Designer Series Paper Stack.
I’ve used the stamp set from the Oh Happy Day Card Kit, just to show you another great way to maximise these kits and another way of show others how to get more from what is already a fabulous bargain.
I’ve used the Copper Metallic Thread, also, just behind the little banner to add a bit of pizzazz. The card base on this card is Sweet Sugarplum..
Here is my next card, which is a version of the first to show you how you can make one card in two ways – maybe a feminine and masculine version of the same card.
This card uses Dapper Denim as it’s base. I’ve stamped the sentiment on Whisper White with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I also painted the candles with Wink of Stella for some extra birthday glimmer.
On this version, I have changed the slope of the stamped and hand cut banner and added the Copper Metallic Thread behind. I wound about 4 rounds, around 4 fingers and twisted that into a figure of 8 then applied to the back of the banner with Glue Dots. I find that, then allows me to fiddle with the thread to get it where I want if.
Now make sure you visit all the blogs in the hop. You’re off to Rachael’s blog next. I’ve listed all the blogs below in case you get a bit lost. Don’t forget if you’re an Australian or New Zealand Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and you’d like to join ESAD leave a comment below and I’ll be in touch.
