Oh this ESAD Blog Hop – Stampin’ Blends will rock your socks I’m sure. Be sure to hop around all the blogs so you don’t miss any inspiration.

ESAD Blog Hop - Stampin' Blends 1

I’ve used Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder with Versamark to stamp my image from Birthday Blooms. Now, I’m no Stampin’ Blends or colouring expert but honestly these Stampin’ Blends make it easy to colour. I have used the Thick Whisper White Card, then Bermuda Bay, Copper Foil and Bermuda Bay again. I think it works quite well.

Now my experimenting revealed that White and Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powders don’t work as the emboss Powder picks up the colour from the Stampin’ Blend you use. However, Copper, Silver and Gold all work quite well.

Here’s a closer look which shows some shading I tried around the flower. Definitely need to practise more. I’ve used Light and Dark Bermuda Bay, Light and Dark Night of Navy, Dark daffodil delight and the Color Lifter.

The inside of the card and the outside of the envelope were also coloured after being stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I masked the stamp with a Post It Note before stamping, so I’d only get the flower. On the envelope you need to take card not to do too much colouring to avoid it going straight through to the back of the envelope and breaking down the paper.
