Freshly Brewed Christmas in July

Don’t you just love winter so you can get started on your Christmas Cards? This week the Latte Girls are bringing you inspiration for Christmas in July. I have 2 cards to share with you today.

I’ve used Flourishing Phrases stamped in Old Olive and I’ve used a Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker to colour the berries and added some Gold Wink of Stella to the leaves and a touch to the berries. The sentiment comes from the Flurry of Wishes set. I used a Stamp-a-ma-jig to place extra berries.

I’ve decorated the inside of the card and the front and backs of the envelope as well using the same colour scheme.

Now, my next card is something a bit summery as our Christmas here in Australia is in summer with sun, surf and sand.

I just love this stamp set and this gorgeous little penguin. I’ve used the candy cane as a surf board and the waves are made using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlit Dies. The background is embossed with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

I also love Dapper Denim which I’ve used in the ‘water’ and for the bow tie.

The Snow Place stamp set is photopolymer which means it’s easy to place the elements where you want them. I’ve added a stripe of Gold Wink of Stella to the band of the top hat and just under the top hat to attach it to the head. I’ve stamped the Santa Hat on the outside of the envelope.

I hope you like the ‘Christmas in July’ Projects from the Latte Girls this week. Make sure you check out what Leonie and Narelle have for you to see and to inspire you to make your own Christmas Projects. Make sure you return again next week to see what we have for you.

Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share …
