Freshly Brewed Flowers and Blooms

Welcome to another Freshly Brewed Blog Hop with the Latte Girls. This week we’re looking at Flowers and Blooms. Now I did promise to move on from Thoughtful Branches and I have. Today I’m featuring the Bunch of Blossoms Bundle today and tomorrow in my posts. Make sure you visit the other blogs in the hop to see their inspiration too.

So here is my bunch of flowers which I have watercoloured on Watercolor Paper, in Sweet Sugarplum and Pear Pizzazz. I initially stamped the outlines with Basic Black Archival ink. Now you do need to allow the ink a couple of minutes drying time but it will dry while you’re cleaning your Photopolymer Stamps. The ink will slightly stain your stamps but this in no way affects their use.

The sentiment is also from the set and is also stamped in Basic Black Archival ink and I just banner cut the piece and layered it up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I just love the Ruched Ribbon which is Sweet Sugarplum and adhered with Glue Dots. I also used the new Metallic Enamel Shapes – such gorgeous bling in one packet and all self adhering.

I find the watercolouring a bit theraputic. Start with a light wash of the colour and add colour as you wish keeping in mind the colour when wet is about two shades lighter when dry..

This is such a gorgeous bundle, I’ve used it in a card again for tomorrow’s blog post and used the Blossom Builder Punch too. Make sure you stop by and have a peak.

Now don’t forget to see the inspiration Leonie has to share as Narelle is still away interstate with her family.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you come back again soon to see what else I have to share.

Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share …
