This week the Latte Girls are looking at flowers. I just love flowers, well all the ones which don’t make me sneeze or itch. Some are just glorious from afar and all make me smile and smiling is good for the soul and it confuses other people. Anyway enough of that and onto today’s projects:
I just love the Detailed Floral Thinlit Dies which I combined with stamps from the photopolymer stamp set Mixed Borders to make my projects today. Sweet Sugarplum was my go to colour for this project. I stamped the ink ‘off’ to gain a paler tone of Sweet Sugarplum.
I used the same border stamp inside the card and on the front and back of the C6 Whisper White Envelope. I only stamped part of the image for the card front and the whole image for the inside and the envelope.
Now for my next project:
These 3″ x 3″ Whisper White Boxes are terrific for a small gift, so I decided to match it with the card I made for today’s post. They are food safe and have a clear acetate sleeve which slips easily over the top to keep them closed.
So, I just made a belly band using one of the Detailed Thinlit Dies and just left about 1/4″ between each cut then scored every 3 1/8″ and wrapped it around joining it by using Liquid Multipurpose Glue. I then slid the clear sleeve over the top. It’s a shame I forgot to put a gift inside – oh well an excuse to make another one and keep this as a display.
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you come back again soon to see what else I have to share.
Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share …
