Freshly Brewed for the Guys

Today our Freshly Brewed Crew are celebrating the ‘Guys’ in our lives. I’ve made 2 cards today using World Traveler Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the Going Global stamp set.

On this card I have done lots of layering using Scallop Circle Punch and Circle Punches. I’ve heat embossed with White Emboss Powder, the vellum and used Gold Emboss Powder on the Very Vanilla for the ‘compass’ image. I’ve used some Linen Thread as well in the button and layered under the vellum. I’ve also used the sentiment from Sky Is The Limit which was a limited time sale-A-Bration Set.

On this card I have used Lost Lagoon ink on my Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to give it colour. I’ve used the Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper for the embossing folder for added effect. I’ve also used the DSP as a banner behind the sentiment. I’ve used the Triple Banner Punch for both pieces.

My Aqua Painter came in handy for the ‘compass’ image as I coloured it with a bit of Lost Lagoon. What do you think?

Now I used the world image to stamp on the outside of the envelope and the inside of the card. I use a separate piece of Very Vanilla card for the inside. If you ink up the image and line up the card on the left and the envelope on the right, you can stamp the image on both pieces at the same time.

I hope you liked both these projects today. Don’t forget to check out the wonderful and inspiring creations on the other blogs as part of the Freshly Brewed Blog Hop. I hope to see you back again soon.
