This week the Latte Girls bring you their take on Kits. Stampin’ Up! have some wonderful kits which save you both time and money whilst catering to your creative side. Make sure you check out the other blogs in the hop to see the wonderful inspiration of the Latter Girls.
So, today I’m bringing you my take on the Cottage Greetings Card Kit. Now, I did change a few of the cards as I don’t tend to need a lot of ‘Congrats’ cards so added a couple more ‘Thanks’ and ‘Happy Birthday’ instead.
The great thing about this kit is that within 90 minutes I had 15 cards made ready to use. which is great when you think about it as that’s just 6 minutes per card. All the materials are supplied except the stamp set.
The stamp set is lovely with the flowers and the sentiments are great too. The kit is based on Delightful Dijon, Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay, Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron and Tangerine Tango. You’re given the Stampin’ Dimensionals but need some Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Fine Tip Glue to finish the project.
It has plenty of Stampin’ Dimensionals left to use in all of these cards.I had a few supplies left over and used them on the following cards.
With the left over foil I used the Lots of Labels Framelit Dies to cut out a foil piece and then a smaller one in Whisper White. I’ve stamped the flowers and leaves in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Stampin’ Write Markers in Blushing Bride, Delightful Dijon, Bermuda Bay and Mint Macaron. I stamped the sentiment in Bermuda Bay and added the sequins from the kit using Fine Tip Glue Pen.
This card just uses more left over sequins from the kit and they are adhered with the Fine Tip Glue Pen. I’ve used the Love Blossom Designer Series Paper Stack. I had some scrap pieces which fitted nicely to finish off this card.
I also made this cards with the stamp set. I’ve again use the Love Blossom Designer Series Paper Stack and Pool Party with Rose Red. The sentiment and the flower images are from the Cottage Greetings Stamp Set with the Petite Petals flower punch.
Now, don’t forget to visit the other blogs in the hop to see their wonderful take on kits as we’re all focussing on a different kit.
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you come back again soon to see what else I have to share.
Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share …
