The Latte Girls are sharing Mothers’ Day ideas with you today. Make sure you check out the wonderful inspiration on the other blogs in the hop. You’ll be amazed.
Here’s one of my projects for this week:
Most Mums have lots to do and keep mental lists in their heads. However, under the cover of this A4 pad is a planner for each day or by the week if Mum needs it. I have prettied up the front using the beautiful Birthday Bouquet designer Series Paper and combined it with Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim and the Birthday Blooms stamp set which I have fussy cut.
I’ve used an Aqua Painter to paint the flower and then gone over most parts of it with Wink of Stella which gives it a wonderful glimmer or shimmer look.
I’ve used the same flower and colour suite to make this Double Drapery or Curtain Fold Card to go with the planner above. Here’s a closer look at the fold and the flower:
Isn’t is a wonderful fold and we’re able to show case both sides of the lovely Birthday Boutique Designer Series Paper which I have teamed with the Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim.
I’ve used the single flower on the inside of the stamp and stamped it in Stazon Jet Black and coloured with my Aqua Painter in Pool Party and Mint Macaron and then covered the flower in Wink of Stella. The envelope is stamped in Mint Macaron using 2 other stamps from the set.
I then decided to make a special box just for Mum to keep some of her things in. I’ve used the same design as on the planner pad for the front of the box and have used one of the Stampin Up Wood Mount Clear Stamp Cases which are available.
On the inside is a note pad, post it notes and a pen. I added a little box for a bull-dog clip, emery board and stamps etc will also fit in there. The pen is clipped in so it has a nice little home.
I hope you have liked what I have shared for Mum today. I’d love to read your comments.
Now please remember to have a look at the gorgeous projects shared by the other blog hop participants.
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you come back again soon to see what else I have to share.
Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share …
