Freshly Brewed Occasions Favourites

Oh I just love this Occasions Catalogue. There are so many beautiful products inside. I found it difficult to choose products for this post however, I finally came up with 2 I feel are must haves and which I love.

I’ve basically used Perfect Plum as the basis for this card. The card base is Whisper White. The layer is Perfect Plum which has been stamped with the large flower and the small flower all in Perfect Plum so it’s tone on tone.

I stamped the flower in Basic Black Archival Ink on Shimmery White card and then used an Aqua Painter to add the colour. I finished it off by using Wink of Stella Clear on certain parts of the flower and the leaves.

I’ve mounted the flower on the layer of Perfect Plum with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used pieces of Washi Tape to mask off the stem and leaves of the single flower and as I needed to use it 3 times I placed a Post-It Note over the Washi Tape (the Post-It Note wouldn’t stick to the flower by itself). I inked up the stamp in Perfect plum and removed the Post-It Note and stamped the image where I wanted it on the inside of the card and on the front and back of a C6 Whisper White Envelope.

I absolutely love this bundle – Rose Wonder Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Rose Garden Thinlit Dies. Buy these 2 products as a bundle and save 15%. This bundle has so many possibilities. It’s a must have from the Occasions Catalogue.

I’ve used the Brick Wall Textured Embossing Folder as the background for this card and added the Rose Thinlit Die over it. I coloured the rose and leaves by using Sponge Daubers and a combination of Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive for the leaves and Blushing Bride and Rose Red for the flower itself. The Fine Tip Glue Pen was used to add it to the card front.

This stamp set comes with many different images and sentiments and as it’s a Photopolymer Set it’s easy to see where you’re stamping. So for the sentiment I stamped the sentiment first and the border last then cut it out using the Die from the Rose Garden Thinlits set. It’s mounted on Rose Garden using the same Die.

I’ve used one of the other floral images from the set to stamp on the inside of the card and the front and back of the C6 Whisper White Envelope, all in Rose Red.

Make sure you visit the other blogs in the hop as I know they have some fantastic projects to share with you which are their favourites from the Occasions Catalogue.I hope you liked this week’s projects and will pop back again soon.

  1. Oh another two of my favourites! I love the Birthday Bloom – so good to watercolour and the Rose Wonder is gorgeous too – love what you’ve done with them!

    1. Thanks so much Leonie. It was so hard to choose products from this catalogue which were favourites. Thanks for stopping by and for organising the blog hops 🙂
