This week the Latte Girls are inspiring you with Pocket Cards. Now I could have used the Pretty Pocket Card Kit which is FREE from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure when you spend $90. I decided not to use them but bring you the video about them instead.

Aren’t they just the cutest cards out and you can’t get better than FREE!!
So as I’m not showing you those, I decided I’d better come up with another pretty pocket card using some product from the Occasions Catalogue and perhaps a ring in from the Annual Catalogue. I hope you like what I have come up with and would love to read your comments.
I’ve used the Falling In Love DSP and cut it to 10.5cm x 30cm (take care if you’re using a directional pattern) and score at 15cm and 26.5cm. Use the edgelit from the Detailed Floral Thinlits dies to cut the fancy edge and score and burnish all lines. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine Tip Glue Pen to run a fine bead of adhesive down either edge and adhere to make the pocket.
To make the card, cut a piece of Sahara Sand to 10cm x 14.8cm and a piece of Very Vanilla to 9.5cm x 14.3cm. Use the So Detailed Thinlit dies – the one with the 3 flowers to cut the edge as shown and then adhere it and the rest of the Very Vanilla card to the Sahara Sand card with Fine Tip Glue Pen. Use Blushing Bride ink to randomly stamp the flower from So In Love, across the top of the Very Vanilla card
Finish the pocket off by punching a 1/8″ circle in the folded over piece and wrap the Very Vanilla around the entire pocket under the fold and poke the ends of the ribbon up through the hole and tie a bow. This holds the fold down. You could use a Glue Dot as well if you wanted. So, one last look at the finished Pocket Card
Now the Pretty Pocket Card Kit is available in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure and is FREE when you place a A$90 order (plus shipping)
