Welcome back to another Blog Hop with the Latte Girls and this week we’re looking at December Daily/Project Life. I decided to make some 6″ x 8″ pages featuring ‘Elf On A Shelf”. Now my daughter purchased the Elf and book for her 2 littlies and they have names Elf On A Shelf ‘One”. So the pages I share today feature ‘One’ and all the photos I have so far. Here’s the first page:
I’ve used a couple of items from the Accessory Pack to embellish the cards and written on the top card and placed an acetate piece on the card and adhered it with Glue Dots. Love all the helpful little bits Stampin’ Up! include.
The second page has a journaling piece on it so I can write down what exactly ‘One’ got up to. He does get into a bit of mischief but also does some really lovely things for Hunter and Scarlett.
Here ‘One has been colouring in, making paper snowflakes which dangle from the ceiling and having a selfie with friends.
This is the last page so far. I’m now waiting for some more photos to see what new adventures ‘One’ has been up to. It took me longer to print the photos than it did to put these pages together. I added a little Emerald Envy card to these, did some journaling, added very few embellishments, adhered the photos to the pre-made cards and slipped them into the appropriate pockets. All done inside an hour!! Got to love that.
What else can you do with Project Life by Stampin’ Up!? Make cards of course. Kraft cardstock, Emerald Envy then the Project Life card. Both these layers adhered at an angle. I painted the wooden tree (Project Life Hello December 2016 Accessory Pack) with Gold Wink of Stella and put some Gold Metallic Thread under it before adhering to the card front. Want to see another?
This card is made with a base of Kraft cardstock also, then layered with Real Red and Emerald Envy. I adhered the Project Life Card on top of that and then added a cork sticker to the centre and an acetate wreath then the ribbon. A quick card in 5 minutes.
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you come back again soon to see what else I have to share.
