Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop – Heat Embossing
Oh the Latte Girls have had fun creating the projects for this week’s blog hop – Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop – Heat Embossing. This technique is easy to do and gives your card interest and depth. See what all The Latte Girls in the hop have come up with:
- Leonie Schroder
- Libby Dyson – You are here
- Narelle Fasulo
- Sandie Morthern
Now yesterday I shared a video on how to do the Faux Metal Technique and so I thought I’d share the original card with you today for Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop – Heat Embossing:
This card uses the Gold Foil sheets and the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. When embossing, try to remember to sue your Embossing Buddy to remove and oils from your fingers and static on the card. I’ve partially stamped the star from Add A Little Glitz around the card front.
Tip: Stamp first then cut. I stamped my sentiment on some scrap Cherry Cobbler and then heat set it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder before die cutting with the Layering Ovals Framelit Dies.
Look back at yesterday’s post and see which you prefer – Silver or Gold? I personally think the Silver worked better, but I’d love to hear what you think.
Make sure you visit the other blogs in the hop and pop back again tomorrow for another video.
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you come back again soon to see what else I have to share.
Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share…
