This week the Latte Girls bring you Wrapped Boxes and Bags, so I decided to make a box with the help of the Gift Bag Punch Board and the Simply Scored by Stampin’ Up! My box isn’t technically wrapped but does have a belly band around it and I have made a gorgeous little gift card to go with it.
This box was very easy to make and you can find the template towards to bottom of this post. I’ve stamped the top pf the box with the large image from the Floral Phrase Clear Mount stamp set. I’ve stamped towards the top and bottom of the front so I had room for a Belly Band in the centre of the box. The Belly Band actually keeps the box together. It’s actually a flat fold box. You could fit all sorts of things inside this box and it would be a lovely additional gift when giving the album in the post above.
Here’s a closer look at the Gift Card which I have added to the box. The border image is from the same stamp set as is the sentiment. I’ve fussy cut the larger image and attached it to the side of the card with some Glue Dots. I think the Gold Sequin Trim just sets off the whole look, especially with the Night of Navy card.
I’ve used the same border image I used on the front of the card, inside the card and there’s plenty of room for a message to be written by the giver to the receiver.
The template is below and the Gift Bag Punch Board was used to round-up the corners and make the box easier to put together. Just line the score pointer up with the corresponding score lines.
Here’s one more look at my completed project.
Make sure you check out the other blogs in the hop as I know Leonie and Narelle will have inspirational projects to share with you.
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you come back again soon to see what else I have to share.
Remember, your creativeness is only limited by your imagination. Keep smiling and until next we share …
